The Cabin was comfortable and our 4 kids really loved it. Great view of the lake from most cabins ours was Chalet 9 and was ~50' from the water. We were able to tie the boat up to the shore for quick launch in the mornings and evenings. We will may visit again and stay at this resort. We would have rated higher, but main floor shower is so congested with minerals to render it unusable. Also prior to our arrival, a mirror had been broken and peices of glass were on the road and path in front of the cabin. We had a 18 month old who was prone to pull her shoes off. We have thought in our 5 days there that this would have been cleaned up. The price was relatively comparable to Waskasiu for what we got, but the quality and access to services were disproportionately limited. Due for some light renos. All-in-all, we had a good time and the kids loved the cabin. Temper your expectations a bit and you'll have a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Bayview suite, perfect for a family of 4. Furniture is definitely cabin like so don't expect luxury accommodations. .Anglin Lake is a beautiful get away if you're looking for something quiet and non touristy. We can't wait to go back! Oh, and we caught 10 fish but they're pretty small so we only kept 2.

Don't waste your time and money. Very dirty and small. Obviously not cleaned as half empty Gatorade bottle from previous people under the table. The floor was sticky. The whole place was disgusting. They would not return our deposit so we had no choice but to stay. Nor would they even give a discount. So disgusted and disappointed. Terrible place. Only 2 chairs for 5 people on the deck which were dirty and covered with cobwebs.

We’ve stayed here for a week every summer for the last three years and love it. The facilities are fairly basic, but perfectly adequate. The chalets are nice, and even the smallest cabins are fairly spacious. There’s a store for basic supplies, a nice beach area (though it does get weedy not too far out) and boat rentals. The location is within a short drive of both Emma/Christopher lake and Waskesiu if you want to take a day trip, though we find enough to do on Anglin lake itself that we don’t need to go elsewhere. The resort is also quite quiet as the owners discourage party type activities. My only real complaints are that the beds are extremely firm and on our last visit, one of the seasonal camp sites next to our cabin insisted on running their outdoor lights all night, interfering with our view of the night sky (which is otherwise absolutely stunning). All in all, it’s a great getaway and we’ll almost certainly be back next summer.

Cozy and comfortable cabins. We stayed in a two-storey chalet and it was perfect for what we needed. It was stocked with towels, bedding, dishes, and all the basics that you would need for the weekend. They even had some coffee packets and filters which was a nice touch. I recommend bringing your own pillows if you prefer big and fluffy. The shower had great pressure and the tub was great size. There was a bin of wood filled everyday for the fireplace. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the lake was a stone throws away. We were able to walk to the lake for ice fishing. There was even two gorgeous foxes that visited our cabin throughout the day. I definitely plan on booking these cabins again. Felt like a home away from home with everything you need to feel cozy.

I booked a 2 story Chalet, months back, to accommodate a family of 9 people. Gave the credit card information. On July 4th, they told me, my booking is no longer available due to someone have already booked it. My trip to PA national park is now totally ruined by their action, and said they are "sorry"- Justin Biber style I guess. If anyone booking this location make sure that your booking is secured, you may end up in a similar situation;"Sorry"

The positives: The area is lovely. The cabin is literally just a few steps away from the beach and lake. The lake is clear and the loons are wonderful to listen to in the morning. A picnic table, BBQ, a few patio chairs and an outdoor fireplace and firewood are provided that is nice for outdoor cooking. There are a few pots provided but no lids. Plates, cups and silverware are also provided. A few cooking utensils but very limited so I would suggest bringing some. Nice location basically right between Christopher Lake and Waskaseiu if you want to explore more of the area. Ample parking space. Lots of campers who seem to have a seasonal site or who are regulars. Place is super quiet. The Negatives: Their website needs to be drastically updated. They take 24-48 hours to respond to emails, voicemails and texts. You are unable to book online and there is a lot of missing information on their website so we had quite a few questions. If they had a better website I wouldn’t have had to contact them directly so much and therefore wouldn’t have got frustrated with their poor communication. Availability and booking confirmation are pretty important when trying to confirm time off work. After arrival they didn’t check with us even once during our 4 night stay to make sure everything is ok. We booked one of the rustic cabins. I feel like there might be some confusion for them between rustic and shoddy/totally neglected. The bathroom taps constantly leaked onto the counter and the toilet felt like it was going to come right off the floor. Sometimes the shower taps wouldn’t shut off at all so you have to stand in there adjusting them until they do. The shower curtain isn’t long enough so the bathroom floor gets soaked and the light fixture half in side the shower is not water proof and has an exposed ground wire. We had to provide all of our own bedding, towels and dish cloths due to COVID they said. I thought it was a bit strange as no where else we have stayed has ever had those requirements and our stay was when all restrictions had been lifted. The mattresses need to be replaced or at least have a foam topper put on each. They are pretty much just springs left. The place looked tidy upon entry but when unpacking we noticed the coffee pot/maker was disgusting and I had to really scrub it before we could use it. The sofa bed plastic cover had a tear in it and we had to clean crumbs and dirt off before we could make it. Also some kind of rodent living in the east bedroom ceiling which I notified them of. The fridge is quite small, seems to be from the 80s and isn’t the coldest. The freezer of the fridge is also quite small and needed to be defrosted badly. My husband scraped it out so we could fit our groceries in there. If staying for an extended period be prepared for that. There is nothing like paper towel, tin foil or Saran Wrap provided. Thankfully I just packed like we were camping so I was prepared. The store by the lake isn’t open so it would have been nice to have an information pamphlet or something letting newbies know what is available nearby or even things to take in while in the area. I wasn’t sent a receipt or invoiced for our stay until 3 weeks after we left and and to reach out several times before it was done. Even at this time I was never asked about my stay and the rodent problem I notified them of was never mentioned. Basically, we would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. We would absolutely return to the area but certainly find somewhere else to stay. The price seemed great until you account for any more than 2 people. I have stayed in beautiful hotels and Air B n’ B’s for $200 or less a night. It’s a shame because these could be great little cabins but they really don’t seem like they care. We still made the best of it and made great memories but save your money and go somewhere else.

I have to say from excellent customer service to some of the best winter views I've seen in this province. Land of the loon is a great way to escape the city and recharge ! My only gripe was the bed was really firm but that was a small gripe . We will be back !
