Immediately when entering the cabin you could tell it had not been cleaned very well. It should be expected that it is clean for any new guests on arrival, especially in times like these with the covid-19 virus the cleaning should of been even extra then the usual they would do. Instead we walked into a place that was definitely not swept, damp clothes left in the washroom that looked used, the shower was stained orange, bedding was stained, lightbulbs were out, the oven had so much stuff left in the burner and bottom of the oven it would smoke up anytime you turned anything on, and the list goes on. Was extremely let down with this places cleanliness, especially in times where it is needed the most for safety.

DO NOT STAY HERE False advertising, price gouging, lack of adherence to cleaning guidelines. Dead bugs stuck to walls, burnt out lightbulbs, dishwasher was out of order, remote for the TV was from a different model and did not work, stained towels, no rack to hang them on in the bathroom or kitchen, blood stains on sheets, no sheets for pullout mattress or cot provided to us, and the owner tried to sell us old alcohol left behind by other guests. I just finished my stay at this cabin and I have some concerns about the listing. The host of the Airbnb was never present, and informed me to deal with the owners of the cabins upon arrival. When I got there they took my credit card information claiming it was for any possible damages which makes me uncomfortable because these aren’t the people in charge of the Airbnb listing. The cabin was filthy when we got inside and with COVID this is very worrisome. It seems to be very unlikely that they cleaned at all between guests, so we spent the first day cleaning it up ourselves. Also, toilet paper was not provided to us and the cost of firewood was 30 dollars for a small bundle. The grass around our cabin was long and unkempt for the first 2 days of our stay and on the third day, early in the morning, the owner decided to mow the lawn with a squeaky ride-on mower around our cabin. This woke us all up and prevented us from enjoying our morning as he somehow took over an hour to finish. They showed complete disregard for our comfort during our stay and were obviously only interested in grabbing our money. They had no knowledge of how long we were staying and came over to our cabin to ask us when we were leaving, which made me afraid that they would charge my card, not knowing that I had already paid in full on Airbnb. To cap it all off, they requested that I come to the office to announce when I was leaving which is not required by Airbnb, and this is when they demanded an additional $35 charge for bringing our small 8 pound dog, which was not mentioned in the listing, the listing just said pet friendly. Also, the listing says it is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the location tag lies about where the cabin really is. It is across the highway and down from the lake and is a solid 30 minute walk if anyone actually cares to walk down a highway with beach towels... I recommend this listing be thrown off the Airbnb app as it is falsely advertised, and the owners lack of willingness to clean is a danger to guests, especially during this pandemic.

I didn't stay there but I've been there for a few gatherings and it's beautiful really nice big wood cabin you got nice wooded and cleared area big area for people I don't know about staying there but as the places it's awesome picturesque

AWFUL. The cabins are beyond disgusting. Bug guts on the walls, mould in every corner, red stained blankets, floor was sticky and hadn’t been swept, hardened pepperoni was found in a cabinet, broken windows, damp bathroom floor upon arrival.. the cabin was the worst cabin I’ve ever stayed in. Aside from the horrid cabin, the service was just as bad. Rude workers that provided us with stained smelly towels. Water had orange tinge and they did not advise us that we were not able to consume the water. They didn’t provide toilet paper. Awful awful awful. And on top of it all, it was way overpriced AND they charged us at the end of our trip for our small dog, when they had already charged us for him! Lack of communication among staff and stubborn owner. Tons of other places to waste your money. DONT WASTE IT HERE.

Owner should update cabins Ex. Shower toilets beds/ re stain cabin exterior but the people that work here are great. The owner is a great guy, just don’t get to real with him or he will storm off. Overall pleasant stay, good food. And very quiet with deer and critters always in view.

New ownership took over after the previous gentleman passed away. Very friendly lady. Cabins were older but clean and lots of room. The girls helping out were also super friendly.

Love this place!! The cabins may not be in spectacular modern style but who cares when you're at the lake. The deck was nice and big for our family and guests to sit and visit. The fire pit area is so nice and secluded you dont have to worry about being too loud. Tons of space by the fire pit! Loved it and definitely will be back.
