Joaquin, Sarah, and Gabby were incredibly knowledgable and provided us with an amazing and unforgettable experience. We will definitely return to see new exhibits and be recommending this to friends and family!

WEM exhibit - certainly not enough of an experience based on the price, i’d pay max 3$ for the experience. no direction, barely any engagement, disorganized and started around 10 minutes late after opening. extremely underwhelming and just not worth it. saw two lizards, one ferret up close and the sloth behind the glass. the snakes were quarantined i guess, which isn’t indicated on the website. so, we couldn’t see anything up close and personal. knocked to one star after the employee told my daughter they had baby hedgehogs when we entered and no hedgehogs in sight. thanks for that.

Sarah showed us around and it was super fun. They’re really knowledgeable and friendly, and seem to really care about the animals and animals in general. I hope this place becomes permanent because it’s a great learning experience and I would love to see it expand and grow. Plus seeing a sloth up close was so so cool

What a cool little exhibit! You’re able to get up close and personal with some really neat animals such as a boa constrictor, tortoise, baby crocodile, geckos, skinks etc and see a sloth really close (though in the enclosure). The staff were all excellent, especially Lee who was so willing to get out the animals and share his knowledge and enthusiasm with us. Great little activity for the kiddos in the mall and an opportunity to touch and interact with animals you may not have other opportunities to do so with! Definitely worth checking out!

Little Rays is a non-profit exotic animal rescue that helps abandoned pets find homes. The staff were knowledgable and kind. We interacted with lizards, snakes, ferrets, turtles and even a sloth! It was a great event for kids and families but we also enjoyed it as adults. Would recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different to do in Edmonton. The animals are very lucky to have an organization like Little Rays!

My favourite activity at the West Edmonton Mall!! We watched an adorable sloth being fed, met Pricilla, the hilarious tortoise, snuggled baby ferrets, stroked Pop the corn snake, and hi-fived a rather cute tarantula. The exhibit looks small, but the employees (Tanner, Lee, Joaquin, & Indie), were wonderful, & gave us a truly amazing amount of interesting information. Perfect for families - or anyone who likes exotic critters. :D

Super fun visit today at Sloth World in West Edmonton Mall. We were able to come and go so that we could catch the sloth and others throughout the day. Friendly and attentive staff took many of the animals out for us to touch and see up close including crested geckos, snakes and a hedgehog. Our fave was the caiman. Workers said it could be a half hour to hour and a half visit (whatever you wanted) and the cost was completely reasonable. The educational show we attended was entertaining and informative. It was neat to see the sloth Barry Allen (The Flash) moving, eating, and resting. Check it out if you get a chance :)
