Excellent experience from the entire team- from the receptionist, to all the doctors, to the nurses on the ward. Absolutely felt so taken care of, and in good hands at all times! Highly reccomend :)

Great and consistent experience with all female Dr team. Receptionist is fantastic and so were nursing staff. Supportive and informative pre- and post-natal care.

Drs are great, but unfortunately the service is bad. I didn’t see any problem until I had problems, then I realized Drs weren’t reading notes or worse didn’t write them. They had no ideas what happens to me, I had to repeat what previous drs told me. When I mentioned to one of Dr this problem, she simply answered “if you don’t like it you can just go with others”.It wasn’t the point, I didn’t have any problem with seeing different drs but I expected them to have a good follow-up. If you go with them, I wish you to get lucky and that everything will go well; if not I hope you or your partner will remember everything because apparently they don’t.

Careless doctors, rude receptionist and very old equipments and low hygiene. They even reuse the urine sample bottles which is so gross. They are always behind their schedules and they didn't catch the flags in my blood work results and I had to follow up with them and remind them to book me a follow up appointment asap. Not recommended at all

Nursing staff we're very attentive and knowledgable, and all very personable. We were there during the COVID-19 pandemic and they always wore protection. The hospital had staff at entrances ensuring everyone was hand sanitized on the way in so we very safe and well looked after. Eli and Simone were our main nurses but all doctors, nurses, and support staff took the time to give us excellent care.

We (two dads) just had our son through our surrogate at Lionsgate hospital. We had an amazing experience, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took special care to respect our relationship with our surrogate. We always felt well cared for, but never pressured or disrupted. The staff were all super friendly, and very professional. The building is on the older side, but the facilities are great, very clean and we basically did not have to bring anything for our baby, the hospital supplied most of it. Thank you for the super team who helped us!

Had a great experience with Lions Gate Hospital. Throughout the pregnancy, Maternity Clinic staff were very attentive and helpful. I suffered with prenatal anxiety and they went out of their way to make me feel more comfortable and gave me help finding the extra resources I needed. For the actual birth I ended up having an emergency c section and although it wasn't planned, all of the staff who cared for us there made the experience so much easier. I especially want to mention one of our nurses - Selena who made us feel so comfortable and confident with our baby. We were lucky enough to have her on shift twice during our three night stay and we missed her when she wasn't there! Thank you for the great care!

I had my baby at Lions Gate in April 2019. Although some of the staff were amazing, some others really let me down. During my 4 hours of pushing to get my baby out, the main midwife there with me kept damanding I hold my breath. She made me feel small because she would catch me every time I let out a breath while pushing and demand I hold it. After, once realizing I had suffered a small prolapse and had to go to a pelvic floor Physio, the physiotherapist told me that being told to hold my breath during every push had directly impacted what I was suffering for months afterwards. It took me a year to fully recover. Also, I was in so much pain after the birth that I had to spend 3days in hospital, it wasn’t until the last day that they bothered to check me to see why I was in so much pain. I wasn’t given aftercare advice, and when I was prescribed medication from my OB, the night nurses argued that I didn’t need to take them. Fancy them going against my OB’s prescription & advice! Lastly when I finally left the room and could barely walk, I asked for a wheelchair to head out of the hospital and I was given a dirty look by the receptionist, followed by “well most women walk out of here”. This is why I am having my next baby at Langley Maternity!
