0	0bstinacy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ over heard someone on bus that has someone in this place. said he fell out of bed with a dislocated hip, they just put him back in the bed and left him until morning. only then, did they take him to emergency. sooo..ya, I would avoid this place at all cost. and buddy who post high score and says he works here, I wouldn't advertise that. cause apparently theres a lot of senior abuse going on.
J	Jim Smiles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ God help those who are dumped at this facility! The staff don’t have the time to give half decent service to the patients! They ignore the patients when they call the nurses. The nurses just do the basic chores without interacting or showing compassion! They get their work done but ignore the desperate cries of the poor souls at their mercy....! The food could be cut to mouth size pieces and served properly in an appetising manner to the elderly and those with debilitating physical conditions. There was no encouragement to a patient to get out of her wheelchair. When a relative (who is also in the medical field) tried to volunteer her services, she was refused to handle the patient and was told that it was the job of a physiotherapist! The patient was used to walking with a ‘walker’ before she was admitted but because of the trauma of the transfer to this facility had become in-cognitive and was confined to the wheelchair. The staff had no plans to get her out of that situation by making her walk.
R	Renate Stefan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Evergreen House is a safe, clean very well run facility. The experience our family had was very positive with placing my mother there. The facility could use a renovation. But, I would gladly trade that for compassionate care and medical services my mother received there any day. The reason I could not give five stars is because of the non existent or poor and unaffordable access to dentistry services that have been put in place for the residents of this facility. With the exception of the amazing visiting hygienist that was able to clean my mothers teeth. My mother was too frail physically and mentally to be taken out of the facility to see a dentist. This needs to be seriously addressed.

Residents are provided care that meets the needs of the staff even if this is to the detriment of residents.Management appears more concerned with staff retention than patient well being. Families are disregarded and information regarding nursing/medical care and medications withheld. Services provided by Occupational Therapist were very professional and communication was exceptional.Avoid this facility if at all possible. At no time did I feel my father was safe at Evergreen House. Dramatic change from care and attitude from Lionsgate Hospital.
