★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an appointment but still had to wait. Then they don’t upload my results to my account online and they say there is no they that they can do. Pathetic won’t be returning to this Life Labs. Better off to walk in some where else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service. Staff was polite and professional (at 14 College st). Short wait times. However their washroom was nasty! No place to hang a coat behind the door which is necessary during winter. The knob seemed to have broken off completely. Washroom floor and washbasin was nasty and obviously not cleaned. In these times of Covid that area should be constantly disinfected and cleaned properly as people go in to pass urine for analysis. Also male and female were using the same washroom so naturally urine sprinkles are everywhere, yuck! I would recommend that people book at the 55 Queen street location instead. Much much cleaner!

As she was getting the heart check up done, which involves her to not have clothes from the waist up, some man randomly walked in and then left. The nurse said nothing and proceeded. This isn’t a safe space for being in vulnerable situations. Not locking the door or acknowledging it and apologizing? pathetic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not terrible but not good either. If you walk in, expect to wait at least an hour minimum. Even with appointments, you are supposed to wait 20-30 mins minimum. They need more staff. The receptionist are also the ones taking the sample blood. Which is absurd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front desk lady was extremely rude and would not explain why I couldn’t get my test done, after a few minutes of conversation cause she wouldn’t explain why, she rudely yelled that I need to contact my doctor for another form. She could have told me this from the beginning and saved me a headache. I will never go back.
Update: I went to another life lab (I’m getting weekly tests) and somehow this life lab “misplaced” my weekly test sample.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Lifelabs. Nothing special but also not as bad as a number of people here seem to note.
Staff is fine. Not friendly but if you want to make friends go to the bar across the street. If you want to get blood work done then remember 1) the person at the counter is just a RECEPTIONIST, 2) you're likely not the nicest person that the Phlebotomists are seeing that day either. Grow up it's a blood lab.
Bathroom can get dirty at times. But I bet you couldn't keep yours clean with 15-20 people an hour using it either. One time I visited I noticed that someone before me had missed the toilet by quite a lot. I informed the receptionist and she had someone clean it right away. So, maybe instead of complaining online about stuff, you may want to be a little more proactive.
As for wait time with an appointment vs walk-in, sometimes its good, sometimes its bad. But hey tell me any medical office these days that are on time. Bet you waited at your family doctor's office longer.
