Due not wait outside. only three chairs inside available where wait list can be observed. If you are hearing impaired, visually impaired or elderly and do not wish to give up a hour or more of the time you have left to donate urin - go elsewhere.

I had excellent service! My blood takers name was Abigail, if you can request her I would. I don’t like being pampered, I like getting on with it with confidence which she exuded!

Consistently bad service. Seldom have a received a hello from the front desk staff before they want to see my carecard or requisition. I understand they want to get each client through as quickly as possible but a simple greeting goes a long way. I recently took home a urine container to collect a sample with no special instructions. Upon returning it, I'm informed there are very specific instructions I needed to follow making my sample void. On another occasion, I called the customer service line to be directed to this location as their number is not listed. I was told to leave a message and they would be sure to return my call. Not surprisingly, I was never called back. Yet another time, I waited 50 minutes here to finally get close to being seen when their entire computer network failed. With no ETA to have it up and running and no paper system, I had to leave. Beyond frusterating. I keep giving this location a chance as it's close to where a lot of my other errands are but each time I leave disappointed. Not worth the grief.

The two stars are for the nurse who actually took my blood - she was super sweet. The reception was horrible as always. There is a reason I procrastinate when having to access health care and today was a perfect example.

Very inexperienced. I had my blood drawn 2 days ago and my arm is experiencing shooting pains - I’ve never had this happen before. If it continues for the next few weeks I’ll definitely have to follow up with this clinic and see what needs to be done. Edit: Had to go to the hospital and also got a second opinion. I have nerve damage as the person who drew blood from me accidently hit a nerve. I never had this happen before and I will never get my blood taken here ever again. BC healthcare is so incompetent...coming from another province which has better trained healthcare workers, this is so disappointing.

Very annoyed with the mycare compass. I've used life labs my entire life, not ONCE were my results EVER available after 48 hours. It takes a minimum of 2 weeks every time, and it never shows up on my care compass, I have to wait for the doctor to tell me, even if there is nothing wrong. They list a number you or your physician can call for results, which takes you to the hospital, who will tell you they are not connected to life labs and cannot give anyone, not even a doctor, results over the phone. They blatantly lie about mycarecompass being the fastest way to get results, when in reality it's completely useless and you will NOT get your results.

The people drawing bloodwork here are aggressive, cold, mean, impatient, and unapologetic about it. They need some serious sensitivity training. Just brought my 14 year old kid in who is terrified of needles and has autism to get blood drawn. The first large lady with a european accent tried to hold my kids arm down after he pulled away a couple of times because of his fear, then tried once to forcefully hold his arm in place resulting in him pulling away even more. After 30 seconds of trying, the technician huffed, grabbed the paperwork, walked away without saying anything, went to the front counter (I followed her to ask her what her problem was), and said to another tech, "YOU go poke him". I said to the huffy tech, "You need to have more patience with someone who is terrified of needles", to which she responded, "I don't have patience for him!". Say what?? So, another tech came in and tried to forcefully hold his arm down while he was trying to pull back in fear, and the tech held on even TIGHTER. Then it was like tug of war on my kids arm. The tech gave up almost as quick and said "I can't do this if he doesn't want to". HE WANTED TO!! YOU HAVE TO BE FRIGGIN' PATIENT. There was NO EFFORT by either tech to work with him to be calm, reassuring, encouraging, etc. to someone who needs to get bloodwork who was so obviously scared. Sure it might take a little longer so have some damn compassion. He's had blood drawn before. It took some time, but it got done. These people are just cold.

I am not sure if they are burnt out or what. But yelling at an elderly person "yeah can you go to room 3" from across the room and then not help assist her to get up out of the not elderly friendly chairs, then come out and have the audacity, after her telling them she had a fall, to come out and say she is getting up slowly, in an annoyed voice. Then be rude to a guy just asking legit questions to you, it is your job to answer and to not heavy sigh and make these people feel like a burden on you... Choose a different job. Every single one of you in there this morning... Do better.
