★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and I love that Dallas is included. I can order online and have it delivered to the mobile library to pick up close to home. I love it! They have a wide selection too. Very friendly librarian and super happy to have it here! I absolutely hate travelling to the northshore and parking is silly downtown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a good library, the washrooms are immaculate and the staff are friendly. I also appreciate the presence of the full time security guard. Keep up the good work TNRD. *****Actually after this review and subsequent visits I lower my view because of the weapon policy that the library has. There was a man openly wearing a large knife on his belt and the security guard said it’s allowed in Kamloops but not in Kelowna or Vancouver. I’m not sure if she is making it up or if that is correct. TNRD should have a policy where libraries are weapon free zones. No person needs to enter a library with a weapon out in the open. There is no need for it in a safe community zone. It seems absurd it’s allowed in Kamloops but other cities have banned it. Again I feel it’s absurd children should have to navigate the facility when a man is wearing a large knife on his hip. This happened on March 24, 2022 at 2:10pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm there often. Getting books out, checking games out with my son, and using their printers. I've never had a negative interaction there, ever.
What made me decide to actually leave this review today was a phone call I just made to them after having troubles finding their weekly hrs of operation. The incredible lady I spoke to was probably the nicest person I've ever spoken to over the phone, and I ended our interaction with a smile on my face. That short 30 second interaction made my day, because everyone is so unhappy nowadays; and they project that during interactions a lot of the time.
Always a great place to visit.
