I went into lids 2 weeks ago or more and ordered 12 hats . Called all day today and no answer . The 2 staff members was only working there a week by what they said and the manager no where in sight . I wanted them made for Xmas and it’s now the 18th of December and still no reply . Do not ever use lids at Southgate , very inexperienced and totally clueless .

Custom hat delays, lost orders, took 4x longer than told, then when we finally collect, it was wrong. Didn't get what we paid for. Out right mislead. Now to see how the returns process is. The third issue, they redid the hats in the wrong font size, despite showing them exactly what we wanted. Every single person i spoke with, had the exact same first thing out of their mouth, "i didn't do it." No one took responsibility or ownership of the issue. Had to speak to 5 different people, 4 trips,to order 3 hats, that they said would be done within 1hour of ordering, a week later, they were still not as ordered. I give up on this place, two or three issues i can forgive, but 5? In one week?

A bit pricy,one customizing should be included in the product and then charge extra for more detailing.

Had a great experience went and got custom hats made for my company was helped by a lady named Shania who helped me with everything and kept me updated thru the whole process 2 thumbs up will deal with her again any day of the week

I’m not one to post a negative review this but this experience was utterly horrible. We attempted to order four hats six weeks before an event. We are a franchise business and so are using a franchise logo. First issue was it took weeks for them to request that I send a letter on letterhead confirming we have the right to use the logo. While we were not asked for this at the initial order I have no idea. Then their corporate office causes additional delays. After several occasions having to resend logos and the letter via email and following up via phone, they had the hats ready the day AFTER we left for our event. When I return from the event two weeks later I go to see the half and they look absolutely horrible. Specifically the wording they put on the back of the hat with giant. It was their smallest font size and I question the staff member who is helping me initially at the store and he said it would look fine. It’s quite literally took up about half of the hat! The manager then offered to redo them with only our company logo on the front for us. They didn’t have inventory anywhere in the city so had to substitute for 2 of the 4. When those finally got finished another week later, and I went in to pick them up the new staff member was trying to only let me have two of them and was attempting to charge me AGAIN for them. I then elaborated on the entire story of all the screw ups and mistakes and he was able, after 10 minutes standing at the till, provide me with a minor refund for the difference in cost but nothing for all of the headache. These were very expensive hats in the end, around $80/hat and I’m confident I could have ordered from China for much cheaper, better quality and had them delivered in a week tops instead of almost 2 months! It seems this locations problem is turnover of staff and no one seems to know what they’re doing.

Very poor customer service (was a younger girl). Was incredibly rude and gave attitude which was uncalled for. The advertising was not clear and gave false impressions that the buy 1 get the 50% applied to the items that were chosen. Extremely dissatisfied as it is already a stressful time to go out of the house due to covid and to get treated with such a lack of respect was a horrible experience.
