A	Amanda Martinho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible property management service. Duka is an absolute GARBAGE excuse for a property management company. After living in our BRAND new rental unit since January, we were unable to lock our door and had to call a locksmith. We called management to find out what to do as the condo was only 4 months old. They advised us to call the Locksmither's as they have a contract with them. No problem. The locksmith was dispatched and we were told (by management) that it was our responsibility to fix the door although (and get this) the Locksmither said that our door was misaligned with the lock plate - a deficiency by the builders. He gave us an invoice and apologized but noted everything in our invoice so that we could get compensation. Fast forward almost three weeks now, and Duka has done everything in the power to not respond. The failed excuse for a manager TIEK MARSH did nothing for us, and said he was handling our issue only to find out that he went on vacation before doing anything or notifying anyone. He also said that they moved from one floor to another with their management office and would have no access to email or phone for an unknown period of time. Does that mean these employees sit there staring at the walls and do absolutely nothing? At that point, his out of office had a contact for his boss MIKE NANI who has promised us over and over again that he will get us the information we need and has not. In the past two days we have called multiple times and are now getting ignored. Everyone should get fired and this company liquidated for being absolute GARBAGE.

Though was disappointed initially with the cancellation of the lease back guarantee last minute, Whitestone Rental did find me a good tenant ( I hope!) within 2 weeks. They did do credit check , got employment letter etc and I got to approve the tenant too. Went with the Platinum package. 95% of any minor defects found on the PDI was already fixed by the builder within 2 weeks. For a pre construction Condo, I am happy as I was very nervous reading so many complaints about others builders in the news and other chat groups. Definitely would go with Lantern again if I am looking to purchase again.
D	DRL L. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree with review provided by Fahmy Choudhury! Whitestone Rental Services is definitely the worst rental company I've ever seen. They are playing around the leaseback agreement which was signed 2 years back and replaced with an Amendment that came in July 2018. When we voiced that we are not happy with the packages (so called "Gold" and "Platinum"), we were told that there were no option! The reason being was we did not sign a form to opt out the guarantee program 6 months prior to occupancy date. How could we have signed the opt-out form back then without anticipating ridiculous changes to the original schedule. We intend to select the Gold package, and we are pretty much on our own. They WILL NOT be responsible for payments if tenant defaults to pay the rent. At the end of 1-year term, Whitestone Rental Services comes off the program, and we will be left with dealing with tenants by ourselves. In addition, extremely unprofessional customer service especially the leasing manager, she was basically yelling over the phone with no patience in answering any questions. Awful attitude!!!! RUN AWAY from this rental services!!!!!

W	Whitney Chiu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Management team is super irresponsible and difficult to reach. I do not understand why simple things take forever to be completed and they also never follows up. Follow up: lame team. They tricked us for moving during fire away and then said the next day that they do not have enough material to fix our unit. We had to move furniture back again. Then why don’t you help us move it?

Hello guys those of you who have bought condos with them plz check ur statement.they have charged extra on property taxes .plz review and check your property taxes and ask lanterra to refund the extra. They are very hostile to get your own money back. More than a month now still chasing for my refund
a	arash ghanbari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor management. They asked us not to use the parking for a period of one week because they could not get the construction done before giving occupancy. We were told either take our cars out and park in a parking garage which would cost more than $200 while I have already paid for my parking spot or do not move our cars for a period of one week at all which technically means that you cannot use your car which you are paying for. They did not mention that they will compensate us for all these costs. definitely 0 for their project management.
F	Fiona Sun on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are condo hunting, avoid buying from this developer. Bought a new construction condo from Lanterra and i am still mind-blown on how poorly everything was built. Not sure how they passed inspections. The newly built condo had a massive water burst flooding multiple floors and causing massive damages to the elevators. Also, AVOID renting with Whitestone Rental Services. The people there have no idea what they are doing and will not do their due diligence before providing information. You will save yourself lots of time and money renting by yourself.
