★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unprofessional. Scheduled an appointment, confirmed it with the owner and arrived to him telling me that he was backed up and could not service my car. Subsequently, I made another appointment and confirmed it with him, but when I arrived he again told me that he could not service my car. To top it off, he was very rude, began talking to someone else and left the room. Completely unprofessional business. Look elsewhere!

so many unhappy people, more bad reviews in Yelp about this guy.
Went to this Mechanic shop to get my A/C freon topped up for colder air to beat the heat of these days but I got my car back with no A/C at all and was told me that the A/C compressor is defective and he explained that the cool air he felt, before he drove my car into his shop, was because there was too much freon and it didn't need the compressor to come out cool (hahaha) !!! I paid him $56.44 for HIS INCOMPETENCE.
I went to another Mechanic and it took him 20 min to get me back the A/C topped up and cost me $76 and they had a big laugh about his explanation and performance.
People if you need your auto A/C serviced, I don't advice this place because it proved to me either INCOMPETENCE or DISHONESTY, it was going to cost me over $1000 according to him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Yorkdale certified auto service for over 10 years and cannot say enough good things about Lou and his team. I am in the automotive business myself, so I know how much repairs should cost. Yorkdale Certified Auto Service is consistently cheaper than the competition, faster and they have the expertise to know a good alternative to potentially costly repairs. I have never been up-sold and have never felt like I am being taken advantage of. I send lots of family and friends to these guys because I trust the work will be done well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a terrible experience as the mechanics there wasted my time. Went for a relatively routine check-up and was quoted a very unreasonable price. Plain and simple they tried to sell and fix items that did not have issues and did not focus on the problems that I was there for. Therefore, I ran from this place like the PLAGUE and went to a mechanic the fixed my problems relatively quickly and inexpensively. Total team working there are not reliable and agree with other reviews and got the hell out of dodge!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am surprised by these negative reviews! It's very difficult to find an honest mechanic, and after countless experiences here, I've never encountered anything shady or unprofessional. They have always fixed my problem the first time, and done it quickly and at a reasonable price.
Yes, the owner may be a bit gruff, especially on the phone, but he definitely cares about his work and his customers. I've even been allowed to "run a tab" when I haven't been able to pay the full cost...that's highly unusual in this field.
In short, they've kept my '95 Corolla running (425,000 km and counting) for the ten years that I've owned it, which is quite a feat! Give them a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dishonesty runs deep in this place, bunch of crooks and incompetent so called mechanics. They wasted my time and quoted me 30% higher than the other shops around them.
Some facts here:
I walked in around 4:30 (they close at 6) and I asked the so called mechanic there If they can do a seasonal tire change. They said they would and asked me to wait in the office. I waited there for half an hour before the owner came in and told me the wouldn't do it and cussed for negotiating the over quote he gave me. Anyway I got my tires changed on the same day at another mechanic in the area for $70 which $50 less than what they wanted.
People stay away from this place. By their response here you can clearly see the level of customer service you could get there.
