N	Nicole Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a night to remember! First time coming to Land & Sea and we were pleasantly surprised throughout dinner. Order the popular king salmon soba as the appetizer and it's no wonder why it's a crowd pleaser - playful use of sesame dressing for taste and varying fish caviar as texture all to highlight a nicely marinated salmon steak. The mains of chili crab and duck was equally delicious with their well balanced flavours and fresh ingredients. Shout out to our amazing server, Patrick. Always attentive and so kind; it is a joy to see him since the Bishop days. And to our bartender, Aaron, for the creative cocktails, one of which being the floral Aviator. Get yourself out here!

All dishes were extremely flavourful with the risotto being slightly saltier than my preferred taste. I thought the pricing was fair and comparable to similar restaurants. Our server was Patrick and he was very lively and attentive! 5 stars to you Patrick!! Will be coming back for sure.

It's the most popular dish for a good reason. Expect that melt in your mouth experience! The atmosphere is wonderful. The servers are so kind and amazing. I rarely say this, but seriously, 10/10
A	Amanda Yeo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy place, great for special occasion dinners and business dinners. I appreciated this place because it was great food and great service from start to end. The combined efforts from the staff at the restaurant is what made it noteworthy for me. It was a nice warm and inviting experience. I went there for a family dinner with my parents and my boyfriend. We had a few of the seasonal items, but my highlight was the chili crab ravioli. My parents loved it, which says a lot when their typical highest praise is "it's ok". Hats off to the chefs. You made me do happy food dances in my seat. I was also impressed by our server Patrick, who was considerate and intuitive. He knew what we needed before we knew we needed it. He is one of the best servers I've encountered in Vancouver. Heel wearers and people with no grips on their shoes...beware of the curve off the front entrance steps, inside the restaurant. The wood floors must have been waxed because I saw a few people do a wiggle dance to regain composure when they slipped. It was great entertainment for me but can be easily avoided. I hope they keep this level up the next time we come :)
L	Larissa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience is so warm and welcoming! We sat on the covered patio area, and to our delight it was heated! Felt so cozy and intimate. The Salmon soba is a MUST have! The duck was the most mouthwatering I’ve ever had. The risotto was slightly firm, but we added local uni to it and it was delightful. There was a bit of a wait on the mains, as it was a busy Saturday night, but the food was worth it, it was so delicious! The staff was amazing at bringing us fresh cutlery and side plates for each course. The dining experience was top notch. Our server was Patrick, he was very welcoming and super friendly! Would definitely come back again :)
A	Agnes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for the first time on a Saturday evening. 5pm reservation. Follow-up was great as they e-mailed, called and texted to confirm. Also asked if there was a special occasion which was nice. We had their cocktails, a variety of appetizers and mains. Each and every item was delicious. The ambiance was very lovely, the lighting was perfect, the space was well done. The open kitchen was nice and being able to see the kitchen staff work was very cool. We went as a group of 4. I would also recommend this restaurant as a good date spot as I saw lots of couples. Overall a great place to come for great food and drinks.

Once we were seated, the server was attentive and provided good suggestions. The low rating is due to the food. I found most dishes looked better than how it tasted (needed more flavour) and the portions did not match the price. Some of the photos online are deceiving since the plates looked larger. My big complaint was the bones I found in the sablefish. I didn’t complain during the service however I think this is unacceptable. Note: I saw that one of the chefs did not have his mask on for most of the dinner. Also not something I would complain about however it’s definitely a deterrent to revisit.

We started off with drinks which were fantastic along with the presentation! Very instgram worthy. Our server, Patrick, had provided quality customer services, checking up on our first bites and regular check ups. He was very friendly and would definitely come back for the experience. We chose land and sea as a birthday celebration venue and we were offered a complementary milk chocolate moose which was fabulous. We were also offered complementary celebratory shooters! Would definitely come back for the food and service and big kudos to Patrick for the experience.
