I am 66 and visited many clinics in my day, Lakeshore Woods is the best ever, friendly staff and doctor's, the adjacent pharmacy is very convenient also.

I found large circular rashes on my child late Friday night. It was clearly not an allergy or heat rash, so I thought it may be Lyme disease. We came to this walk-in clinic first thing the following morning (Saturday). The receptionist was very pleasant and was able to accommodate us right away. The doctor looked at the rash and said, "It's definitely not Lyme." I asked him to request a Lyme disease test anyway with the bloodwork he ordered, which he did. He assured me that he'd call with the results of the bloodwork. I immediately went to a local clinic to get my child's blood drawn. (Again, this is Saturday.) On Thursday afternoon the receptionist left a message saying that the doctor had my child's results would call me the following Tuesday to discuss. On Tuesday, he informed me that it was, in fact, Lyme disease and said he'd refer me to a specialist for treatment and that I should wait for a call. Instead, I called my family doctor with the results and went straight to her. She got my child on a prescription to treat the disease the same day. This doctor clearly did not understand 1) the severity of Lyme disease or 2) the need for immediate treatment. I'm appalled that he waited a full 5 days after knowing the diagnosis to contact me and then didn't prescribe the medicine to treat her immediately. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT WALK IN CLINIC.

If you suffer from a serious health conditions I wouldn't recommend going to this clinic. My GP didn't invest time or effort in my health conditions. She didn't send my for a specialist as I was asking and begging her to do for 4 years until my condition is untreatable. Don't go there. Do yourself and your loved ones a big favor and find a different walk in clinic that will take care of you and your health in a professional manner. Not only that, only when I moved to a new GP my previous GP called me after a year (!!!!) of not calling me back although I was tried to reach out to countless times over the phone. What a careless, unprofessional GP irresponsible which rather you'll be dead at home than help you or do the bare minimum by at least calling you back.

The lady at the front desk was kind & Doctor Rana was great! Walk in Hours are 5-7pm Thursdays. Arrived at 5:05 & we were in & out in 10mins. I highly recommend filling your RX at their pharmacy. I made the mistake of taking mine to one closer to home & they couldn't give me what I needed. (An antibiotic type mouth rinse) These days, many (if not most) Doctors won't even see ppl in person, only over the phone so I very much appreciated being seen & so quickly at that! Great experience & highly recommend!

I had a horrible experience with the receptionist today I showed up for my appointment. The receptionist told me I wasn't on the list. My guess is that she did not open up the appointment list. She's very rude to me and very unprofessional. She was talking back tome. Very very unprofessional.

We had to take our beloved 14 yr old cat Thomas in on Sunday. We live in Hamilton and couldn’t get in anywhere local. Dr. Masoud basically saved Thomas’ life and he’s on the mend. We were treated with kindness and compassion at such a difficult time. Dr Masoud stayed an hr and a half after closing just for us. Thomas would not have made it through the night had we not been able to get him in. We are so thankful.

My doctor is nice, I barely get to see her when I go though. It also takes forever to get them to answer the phone or book an in person appointment that's not just walk in. Then well at the walk in it takes awhile to get in to see the doctor even if there is only 3 people ahead. Lately I've called and left messages that says will be returned 24-48 hours and they never call me back so it's been nearly impossible to see my doctor. I get they are busy don't get me wrong that's why I leave voicemails and wait a couple days but still nothing and it's happened more then once to the point I just go see a random walk in. I haven't seen my actual doctor for probably about a year or more now. Very frustrated.

The receptionist the primary reason for this review. I have never personally worked in a receptionist role, but I do understand customer service and empathy. I really like Dr. Omar, I think he's great and he listens to your needs. I really hate that I am really strongly considering finding a new family doctor all solely due to the lack of professionalism exhibited by this receptionist. It's quite shocking to see that I'm not the only one who was exhibiting issues. Late last year/mid last year, I would call and leave a message. I was told within 48 hours I would get a call back. Thankfully it wasn't emergent, I was looking for some advice, and I would never get that callback. (I left probably 2-3 messages?) I remember essentially redialing the clinic until the receptionist picked up and I essentially demanded making an appointment. I remember my past experiences with her were also very cold. She is blunt and straight to the point, and I understand the job is demanding but it's rude the way she's handling it. I also heard her arguing with another patient while I was in the lobby. She apparently scheduled this patient in but then denied it to the patient who was not pleased (fair). I don't know who was right or wrong but it was highly unprofessional. (This was a while ago). Yesterday I called and received a lovely lady who told me the receptionist stepped away, took my number and said I'd get a call back shortly. I waited 3 hours, no call back. So I called myself and got the receptionist who proceeded to hm and haw at the schedule and then abruptly askes 'well why do you need the doctor'. Like...there are much nicer ways to ask these questions. Then I give her my new phone number, confirmed it with her (she read it back) AND SHE DIDN'T PASS IT ALONG TO THE F-ING DOCTOR. Like, are you actually kidding me right now? So I got an email advising 'hey you're number has changed' like yep it did, and I wasn't attached to my emails so I caught it hours later. I had a really simple question that I needed help with. I honestly would stay really far from this clinic. As much as I like Dr. Omar this headache is getting to be way too much. Dr. Omar is the reason it has 2 stars instead of 0 because that receptionist would be giving this a zero for me. (Honestly Dr. Omar is a strong 4.5 star doctor in my opinion).
