GI Health Centre

This was my first time at this clinic and at first I was a little taken back by the blonde receptionist. Didn't seem friendly at all....however as I went into the procedure room the nurses, the doctor Dr Marwaha and the anesthesiologist were Amazing!!!...the doctor took the time to talk to me before and after procedure. All of the kindness made up for the not so friendly front end. Even Bob the manager was awesome..they did all the covd guidelines, they laughed and joked to make you feel less nervous...thank you team for all you do...shout out to Rachel, Jessica and im sorry I didn't get the other ladys name... Be safe and be kind.

Very grateful for the team at GIHC. I was pretty nervous about the experience. But they were extremely organized, kind and efficient. I was impressed at how kind the nurses and anatesiologist were. Amazing team and as good of an experience as one can hope for given the situation.

Both my wife and me have been with them for a few times. They are very knowledgeable and professional. The process of endoscopy is fast and painless, always give you best advice. Definitely recommend

Dr Sapna Makhija was very professional & considerate as were all the nurses, doctors and staff. The facility was clean and very comfortable! I am very satisfied with my experience, Thank you GI Health Center!!

Nov.27th,2021 I wanted to let the staff, all the staff, know how amazing they were today. After a tough night prepping, it was an incredible relief to walk into a warm environment, and kindly greeted by two staff members, the second I walked in. The entire staff was superb at their jobs. ( I know this because part of my training to be a nurse was spent in a G.I clinic). Thank you so much, for making me feel happy and at ease. Sincerely Lynne

Very nice service, from reception to finish. I was attended in time and the person who welcomed me was nice to answer my queries and explained all the procedures. Although receptionists were busy on phone calls but friendly. Inside care service was well and above my expectations. Nice and friendly paramedics staff. Then in the testing room, Dr Emily was there all the time until the procedure was done. Anesthetic was super nice and friendly person. Thank you so much for your service..

I would never think to leave a review for a doctor - negative or positive… however I really feel that this clinic went above and beyond with my treatment and care and deserved some recognition. I was a bit disappointed to see some negative reviews - everyone experiences things differently I guess. While I can understand the comments on reception (they weren’t warm and fuzzy)… I also don’t think they were rude or uncaring. I can’t even begin to imagine what they have to deal with on a regular basis… reminding people to mask up, sanitize, social distance. I’m also sure they get berated and yelled at for things beyond their control all day long. So I can totally empathize with why they aren’t able to be bubbly and outgoing. It’s been a LONG and tough year and a half!! Give some grace. The clinic was clean, bright and comfortable. They ran on time with the procedure. I was well cared for. The nurse was so caring and kind. The procedure team were fun and upbeat and the dr was so great at explaining everything. She didn’t make me feel rushed or too busy. I was pretty nervous (it was my first colonoscopy) but they put me at ease… and it was completely pain free! The above and beyond part came for my polyp results - my results were not back from the lab before the dr was taking some time off for the holidays. She called me for a follow up and explained she had requested a rush on them but they weren’t able to get them back to her in time. She apologized - but it wasn’t her fault! Then about a week later I received a secure message from her. She received my results and was kind enough to send them on to me - WHILE ON VACATION! Who does that? I am blown away. This is a team that truly cares about their clients. I would absolutely request a referral to them again.

A very efficient booking process and on day of procedure excellent handling by the entire staff I met. Prompt data gathering on arrival, preparation for procedure ensuring you understand what they will be doing. A good recovery process and individual written and verbal review by the doctor ensuring everything is clear. They make an unpleasant experience as good as it can be. Highly recommend, Thank you to all.
