About Lac Des Mille Lodge
Our resort is located on the Nothwest tip of Lac Des Mille Lacs about 280 miles from Duluth, Minnesota, or 100 miles West of Thunder Bay, Ontario. To be more exact, we are just 5 miles West of Upsala, turn left on Blind Bay Road. The 8 mile road into the camp is very scenic and can be travelled by any type of vehicle. At the end of this road you will find a clean, quiet and friendly camp.
Our lakefront motels, cabins and campsites offer excellent views of the surrounding beauty. All our accommodations are fully modern and equipped for housekeeping. We have a lounge area where you can relax and shoot a game of pool, have a drink or share some fish stories.
Also available are: boats, motors, tackle, gas, oil, groceries, cold drinks, souvenirs, bait, ice, coin-op laundry,etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here, we had two cabins one for my parents and one for me, my husband & 10 month old son. The owners will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cabins were extremely clean.
We brought our quads and had a great afternoon quading through trails, swimming then quading back to camp.
Even with the covid-19 measures in place it still felt like a warm and welcoming place, yet very safe.
This will most likely be our summer vacay spot from now on. Highly recommend.
We caught fish off the dock as well as from the boat. They even have a basketball court - great for families and kids!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have vacationed there five times for week-long fishing trips, the last time in 2008, and have always enjoyed myself immensely. Some times we stayed in a camper, other times we rented a cabin. This is no posh resort with tons of entertainment for bratty kids to spend their money on. I love that! If you like remote, rustic places for hunting, fishing, swimming, hiking, camping, nature photography and the like, this is a great place for you.
