Beautiful spot to spend the night on our way through. Wish we were staying longer! Friendly staff and scenic sites.

I found it to be the only camping tenting or RV park open late in October and better than all the rest ... no water was on because of the cold or bathrooms ... it was beautiful by the lake .. Brent a seasonal RVer served me a coffee in the morning at his trailer on my way out ... thanks for the fire and coffee Brent ..

If you have ur RV with all facilities then u need only to be worried for you safety.... Washroom is horrible, without even a basin to wash hand, or even toilet paper..our site had a electricity stand and water pipe which was not Close to impossible to use.... So many mosquito around and even we meet a Snake... Although shower had a security lock but inside was unpleasant with a bad smell .. Anyway should keep in mind you are staying in a park not a proper campground for 40$ per night....

Great place to stop overnight. Was quiet after 10pm, no real road noise and the trains whistle stop. Had power but no potable water.

My first year ever having the opportunity to camp like this. Sadly I've only experienced rules, awful bathrooms, harassment, and no proper welcome. If things don't change, I will be pulling my trailer out after this year. The park has gone through changes with council members and the rules change daily. Many have left the campground and ventured off to another. I do love my spot.

We stayed here for one night on our way from Edmonton to Nova Scotia with a 27 ft trailer. Firstly, it's an absolutely gorgeous campsite and the view, the lake, the wildlife, all amazing to experience and I would definitely stay there again if we come through this way in the future. We made a reservation over the phone and then repeatedly changed it as we found out we were moving much slower than we had planned. They were very accommodating and had no extra fees despite all the changes. The campsite were a bit confusing, as it was a bit hard to distinguish where each one ended and started. We hadn't seen to use long extension cables for our power. Also the water was not usable while we were there but this was communicated to us clearly beforehand so we came with a full fresh tank. The road around the campsite is quite narrow and winding and you do need to follow it all the way around the lake to arrive there, was a bit surprising with a long trailer and no way to turn around. This also made the dump site a bit challenging to access as it blocks the way of the road for everyone else while you dump. Despite that our site was very easy to pull into. These inconveniences are what you pay for such a gorgeous pristine view. There is also a lovely playground by the beach so great for kids!
