During check in we were told different information as I had spoken with the lady doing the booking and ended up having to pay for 2 campsites, which was fine but it would have been good to be told that ahead of time, they were extremely rude. First night a dog was taken off its leash and attacked be and but me in the leg, I went to the front to ask if they had a first aid kit or even just band aids and was told they don’t have any first aid kits or even band aids. When I told them about the other campers with the dog they didn’t care or ask about how it had happened. They were extremely rude. I talked to the security and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because by the time I spoke to them the dog was back on it’s leash.. for a camp site that has families and parks for kids getting bit by a dog and not even having a first aid kit is unacceptable. I have been camping here since I was little and remember it being so different but now I don’t think I will be retuning. I don’t know how a company can run and have zero first aid.

This was a family trip with two kids 4 and 10. The check in was relatively fast. This place has everything you need to have a good time. - Great Lake meters away from the camp site - Grocery store inside - 2 Kids Playground - Basketball court - Volleyball court On negative side: Quite time is supposed to be at 11 AM but no some people don’t follow the rules (music, fire, people talking loudly). Piece of advice: Bring extra camping stakes, the ground is rock solid.

Five stars. This is a nice campgroind/RV park with a ton of sites. Way more trees and green than you are probably used to. Every staff interaction was good, even when I was asked why I had not vacated, even though it was after 11. When I told them I was quite ill and was waiting for someone to drive my truck home, they were very pleasant. The only downside was the lack of heat in the FREE shower building. Water was hot (and FREE), but room was cold.

This campground does have great features. Right beside water, sufficient kid parks, full hook-ups, free showers. What it needs improvement with is the Washrooms need modernized. They are old, run down and give a dirty feeling. Night time parties till 2am can keep you awake. Sites are real close, and you may have a walking path splitting the sites, which can have heavy foot traffic.

This is my 2nd year starting at this campground. The best part of this place is Cultus lake is situated right at walking distance to the campers and trailers. I'd give 1 star for the washroom maintenance. We are paying $50 a night for camping and friends paid $67 for hook ups and electricity on trailers. For that we expect them to at minimum not only have security but clean washrooms even on busy long weekends! They only so called clean once a day. It's gone downhill. Women's WC had one clogged WC so only 2 out of 3 worked. Showers outdated and not powerful. Soap in WC was not refilled. Even provincial campsites are better. This may not be for everyone. Feedback to sunnyside improve your cleaning staff especially during Covid.

Love this place! The lake was calm on May long weekend and was able to get the paddle board out a few times. Always a good experience at Sunnyside!

I’ve been here before and had slightly better experiences but let me tell you, it’s rough these days. Amenities are lacking and the site is not well-maintained. On top of everything, it was severely overcrowded with tons of loud children and grown ups partying until the early morning. If you want a traditional relaxing camping experience, don’t come here. We literally left the same night we got there, within a couple hours of setting up.

Great beach/lake for swimming or spending the day. Free hot showers and warm water at the sinks. But bathrooms were in terrible condition. Shockingly bad and I've stayed in places with only outhouses... Especially considering covid is still a thing... We stayed 5 nights and they never got better. Also we had terrible neighbours that were super loud. Called security at 11pm, 1am and 240am. They left the next day, I think they were told to leave but the night was rough. Seems to be more of an issue with tent camping in the last few years... Might be time to book RV sites
