★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big thank you to Laboratoire Orthopedique Saint-Laurent. My dog Karma needed support for one of her back legs. Martin Dussault who is a master of his craft specially designed a leg brace for her. She can now place her weight on this leg making it possible to evenly distribute her weight on both her back legs. She has a better quality of life. Thank you Martin, your expertise, ingenuity, kindness and caring attitude all contributed to this success. I would highly recommend Laboratoire Orthopedique Saint-Laurent for men, women, children and animals. Their customer service is outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's pretty far if you live near downtown Montreal, but there's a metro across the street and the service is excellent. Think personalized, efficient, knowledgeable service from 45 years ago, when people working with the public weren't all snooty, egocentric, and self-entitled, and actually thought about the clients' needs--that's how amazing they are. I have the greatest admiration and respect for this team of professionals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Francois Blondin made orthotics for me with a lift on one side based on an anatomical leg difference. After I developed a foot, hip and jaw problems, I went to see a chiropractor who refused to treat me because he strongly disapproved of the lift. I sought a second opinion from different chiropractor who agreed the lift was likely causing me problems. I finally went to a podiatrist who confirmed that while I have an anatomical leg length difference, there is no functional difference in terms of how I walk. Her advice was to put his orthotics in the trashcan, which I did. While Francois Blondin has a good reputation as a technician, his mistaken diagnosis and orthotics have had severe and negative impacts on my health for the past 6 months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an unsuccessful Morton's Neuroma surgery about 10 years ago which left me with a chronic pain condition and unable to walk without a limp. A friend suggested that I see Mr. Francois Blondin for custom-made orthotics, since he had an excellent reputation as an experienced orthotist who makes orthotics for national hockey teams, and for people with serious foot injuries and deformities. (I'm aware of at least one orthopedic surgeon in Montreal who sends her post-op patients to him.) I credit Mr. Blondin with giving me back my ability to walk pain-free when I'm wearing his special orthotics for nerve damage. He's a true professional in his field, and is genuinely caring, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend him!

And he's been able to offer me many helpful services that other orthotics specialists could not or would not do. He's a very compassionate person. I've also seen Brigitte in the past and she's done wonderful work as well. The Laboratoire Orthopedique St. Laurent team really stand out for their exceptional customer care.
