★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there for a simple othopedic insole to fix a slight pronation on one foot. For $400, I got a quick visual "examination" followed by the insoles 3 weeks later.
These insoles destroyed my knees - permanently. The person doing the examination had failed at the simple task of knowing how changing the foot angle will affect the angle of bones in the legs and the pressure on the knee and hip joint. Within a month I was literally unable to walk due to pain, and my knee cartilage was so scarred it creaked and crackled like an oak tree in a hurricane. By the time we worked out that the insoles were to blame (and threw them away) the damage was done.
I was reduced from an athlete (extreme sports, cycling, swimming) to not even being able to walk up a short flight of stairs - let alone run.
It took $4000 in physiotherapy and 3 years before I can move without pain... well, most days at least.
Medicus is 100% to blame. Their examination was pathetic - the physiotherapists all agreed that it is inexcusably stupid not to consider the leg, and not just the foot, when making an examination. I relied on their expertise to fix a minor issue (for a large cost!) and in return they crippled me. DO NOT GO HERE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some years ago I was diagnosed with OsteoArthritis of the left knee. I was quite young but had suffered an ankle injury which left my left knee unaligned. I was sent by my doctor to go get shoe insoles. I went here and the Orthopedic Doctor who saw me told me there was absolutely nothing you can do with my situation. All he said was; "Look; this we call hypermobile joints! We cannot do absolutely nothing with this". He kept moving my knee patella and kept repeating this. "Absolutely nothing cannot be done". "I will make my guys do you a knee brace so you can wear it all the time". Years later; with the help of the McGill Sports clinic staff; My knee issue could actually be stabilized and something could be done. Contrary to what the incompetent so called Doctor told me over at Medicus. These people are there only to take away your money. I would recommend staying away from places such as these.
