I agree completely with the other 1 star review saying that this store would be bankrupt if they accepted refunds, since their clothing is of such low quality. Complete and utter garbage. Staff are very rude too. Avoid this place like the plague.

Winnie and the staff were absolutely fantastic with helping my Mom find the right size of coat and even shipped it to Oshawa when the style she wanted became available! Really appreciated all the help!

worked here for roughly a year and a half before quitting my job under duress due to the verbal abuse and lack of leadership from my district manager, Alina. I highly advise against working for this company, as head office management is very verbally abusive and unprofessional to employees at store level. Thankfully, I heard the store has a new manager now, and she is well rounded and kind, I wish her well and hope she is having a great time. Allow me to extrapolate my experience with the district manager, Alina whom I worked under as I transitioned into the position of key holder. Note, not only is the working environment unprofessional,(employees have to run around the store finding the price of items because head office doesn't update the  2003 POS System, this is one problem amongst many other in this store, including fixtures that are old and not efficient for holding apparel) but managers were routinely swapped in and out of store whilst employees were subjected to disorganized scheduling and a feeling of walking on eggshells because the district manager (whom visits typically on Wednesdays and Thursdays for visual merchandising) cannot control her tempermental outbursts. Whether or not the day or sales are going well, employees at Labels should not have to feel intimidated and nervous around the presence of a regional manager that is supposed to be the backbone of our company. Flat out, the district manager's attitude is outrageously rude, occasionally cussing out employees because she is (possibly) having a bad day and wants to use staff as a punching bag. This lady has made managers cry and employees stressed out to the brink of anxiety. Horrible, horrible behaviour that made coming to work depressing. She is verbally abusive and lacks leadership or self-control. Examples of her insolence include: • Sarcastic patronization of sales associates when they present her with a question regarding visual merchandising or proper store functions. Raising her voice to demean employees, which in turn causes them to steer clear of her while she is in store. • Criticism from the district manager is unprofessional and escalates to her insulting said employee down to their ability to function as a person (I.e calling employees stupid in front of customers as well as going on and on about how stupid she believes they are). • Lack of Leadership, when presented with a concern related to why the store was not up to par (Wednesday visual and store changes were not being implemented on time by the manager and as a result I (key holder in training at the time and alone at the store during my shift) was trying to do it properly and became frustrated because lack of guidance and bullying began crying. The district manager (instead of helping me or offering a strategic plan) told me indirectly that I was stupid, and that I don't listen to her, and that I didn't do all the work, that she "flipped the whole f*ing store, and I don't care about your tears". At that moment, I realized I was unable to work in such an outrageous environment despite the love I had for my fellow co-workers. I quit right then and there and surrendered the store key. I left the mall crying that day and never returned. It baffles me how someone could be this unprofessional, although I still wish her and everyone else at Labels all the best. Kindness above all, she needs it.

Customer survice was terrible. I was carrying my 10 month old son in one arm and trying to find sizes with my free hand. All the sizes were facing the inside of the racks wich would make finding a proper size tedious even for a person with two free hands. All the while the store clerk, aware of my prescence, neglected to offer any assistance. Even when i accedently dropped a few items. I was the only customer in the store at the time. I still bought 3 pairs of shorts and 1 t shirt for a total of aprox $80. The clothing is good quality at a good price. Terrible customer survice. Pickering town center Monday Aug 6th 2018

I am amazed there are people who consider the clothing here and at designer depot as "quality". I suspect they are somehow connected to the management / ownership. Truthfully I have bought clothing from the dollar store that has lasted longer and better quality. The clothing and jackets they sell are extremely poor in quality. Three (3) different jackets apparently worth $300 on sale for $100 ripped and zippers broke. I eventually gave up and accepted a gift card because they simply have nothing worthy of the word quality in their stores. You can get a decent jacket at Canadian Tire for alot less! One that will not rip and have a zipper fail after a couple of days! They do not accept returns in ANY of their stores because they know they would be bankrupt if they allowed this considering all their clothing is poorly made. Also staff are quite unhappy to work there, it's very clear when you speak to them they prefer to be anywhere but at the store working. Complete waste of money and time. Buyer Beware!

We really enjoyed this place and found some great deals. It is so cheaper than many other mall stores. Selection and sizes are not huge but you can find some bargains.
