Had dinner here with my wife for a night out, and would like to share about this place. Visually, this place is stunning. Absolutely looks like a fancy spot right out of South America. The food was very good, and well-priced I would say. We ate the Shrimp Tacos, Corn, and the Cubano Sandwich. Now, there were three minor things that we were a bit confused/annoyed at. The burgers were completely sold out relatively early in the night (7pm). Our waitress seemed to completely forget about us after bringing us the food, even had us flagging someone to get us the bill for 15-20mins (after someone cleared our plates and wiped down our table while we were still seated). Finally, the music was so loud that we couldn’t have healthy conversation without raising our voices. But I will say the taste in music was great, and they even had live entertainment with someone on a guitar for a prolonged period of time which was nice.

Went for a friend's birthday, and the place was packed. Fun atmosphere, which I feel like would be fun for dancing. But we went for dinner and so the music was a bit loud for dinner service, we had to yell at each other at our table of 5 people and even then sometimes couldn't be heard. In terms of food, I think the best dish we had was the Smoked Chicken Chuafa. It reminded me of like a paella of sorts. The chicken was nice and smoky (which you could see them making as they have an open kitchen) and the rice was super flavourful. The tacos were lackluster (we got the pork, beef brisket and shrimp tacos). The tortilla was cold for all our tacos, I wished they had heated it on the grill a bit, I think that would have gone a long way. The beef brisket was overpowered by a smear of BBQ sauce for me. The flavours didn't meld well for me. The cocktails were a bit inconsistent. My two friends ordered the same drink and one was cold as it was supposed to be, and one was warm. Though other than that, the cocktails were delicious. Still had a great time, a fun vibe and feel to the place, the food sort of hit or miss though.

We were seated promptly. Our table was right by the boot for waiters and waitresses. There was always someone walking by. It made it hard to see the live band with waitresses walking back and forth. We went on taco Tuesdays and got shrimp and mushroom taco, the corn tortilla was a bit undercooked but everything else was good.

If there was an option for 4.5 stars.. A definitely must must try bar in the neighbourhood! Visited this place on a Saturday evening. Had reservations so it was easy to get a spot but the place started getting busy and i guess walk-ins wasnt an option due to seating. Loved their decor, seating, wall art, every detail was amazing and worth it! Very friendly staff. Great bar set up. Overall the prices were on a slight high end as drinks range from 16-20$. They also had live music which added a good feel to the place. Service is pretty quick. Tried a couple of things from their menu.. for drinks we tried BahiaCaipirinha, MojitoColada and Classic margarita, all of which were worth it and amazing! For food had their Coxinha, mini smashed potatoes and grilled corn which were delicious but one disappointment were the chicken tacos- hence the less star, it was very dry, no dressing, description said served with avocado and pico verde but both were missing. It was soggy and not worth spending the 16$ on this dish! Dessert, tres leches cake was great but this was a slight different version that i tried compared to many other places! Overall it was a good weekend place to chill.

The burger and fries was one of the best I’ve had, hands down. The meat is extremely juicy, and the fries are so crisp. I added tomatoes to the burger and glad I did. Also Tuesday’s, 3 tacos are $10 which is a wicked deal.. live music too. Wish music was a little bit lower so I could hear conversation better but solid place, good atmosphere. If you love guava, the guava dessert was unreal. Def going to continue to frequent this spot!

Went with a group of 6. Quite a busy place. Very popular for dates. Lighting and wall decor is quite funky. Cocktails are on point -- including drinks served in pineapples. Food was great as well. We sampled plantain fritters, tacos, nachos, and croquettes. However, the wait staff is absolutely terrible. We had to ask for our cocktails a few times before they were brought out. I don't know if the wait staff is overworked, but it is not a great look for a place that obviously takes great pride in their drinks.

Super fun decor and the live music was such a nice touch! Everything tasted fresh and had a unique but authentic twist. The corn and the cocktails were especially delicious! We can wait to go back for Taco Tuesday!

So good to have in Toronto a place to eat the amazing Latin food. I've been there at happy hour period, so I got very good drinks for a great price. The food was very good, however, for the Picanha, I wish they offer sides dishes with the meat. For me, it doesn't make sense to eat only the steak.
