Worst service! The employee kept asking my name several times and wouldn't listen! They are EXTREMELY rude! If you are a university student, don't go there! They will try to charge you and take money out of your pocket! C'est ridicule!

Staff is snobby and they unfortunately don't respect the deal made with ASEQ in terms of prices. Would not recommend.

Good place. The optician Paul Bukvaj wants the best for his customers and is not trying to sell anything. He wants the best for you. I would recommend this place.

I did an eye exam in La Boîte à Lunettes and ordered a pair of glasses recently. The service was alright. They said that ASEQ will cover all the expenses, but apparently they just cover students with RAMQ. I've paid $310 but my insurance (Desjardins) just covered $75 for the eye exam. I would appreciate if you could tell your clients that ASEQ won't cover your expenses if you don't have the RAMQ!

The service is alright and most of the staff is welcoming. Although, they pressure you (rudely) to have your glasses made with them if you are going to have an eye exam. I got my appointment cancelled because I wasn't sure if I would buy glasses from them.... The quality of the frames were a bit disappointing, they seemed cheap and about to break.

A cheap place to go for a student eye exam and glasses if you're covered as part of the Studentcare Montreal Vision Network. As of August 2021, I paid less than 175$ for an exam and pair of glasses, 40$ for the exam itself after student health plan coverage. Very pleased we have some who recognize the importance of providing affordable eye care to students. I arrived early and was taken in early, the O.O.D was very familiar with student coverage. The whole process as a new client to choosing a pair of frames for new glasses took about 30 minutes. I received my prescription in hand without even having to ask. The glasses were ready for pickup 48 hours later. I was not pushed or coerced into purchasing anything extra. The office is small and located right on Saint Denis Street. Great place to go if you're looking for a pair of budget glasses. I believe they have more premium options too. I chose this place because of its proximity, and am satisfied. Oh and Dr. Paul Bukvoj doesn't speak English, or at least doesn't like to.

Very Bad experience, Very old machine, no patience, no polite, treat customer in a rush. The glasses of the machine have moist every two seconds and I have to clean it very frequently when I look the eye chart: the result for sure will be not accurate. Write down the result in a very poor thin paper, without any explanation and say you can leave now. Poor environment. If you have any choice , do not come here. supper disappointed. I will do examination again in other place. If you have any choice, don’t come.
