Little Japanese noodle house tucked away off cedar hill that served me the best Raman I’ve had to date. I have no idea if it’s β€œauthentic” because I’ve never been to Japan, but I don’t care. It was delicious. Highly recommend.

We ordered Souyo flavor ramen for adults and kids. It should be pretty standard but the soup came a bit spicy. When we requested for a change as no one in our party eat spicy good, the server was unapologetic and then told us they will charge us extra for the adjustment. We were told they will drain the previous soup and replace it with south base. But isn't that what we ordered it the first place? The food came back cold and saltier too. We were pretty disappointed as this place normally comes with great personal recommendation and high ratings. If you don't eat spicy food I would not recommend you order here. Or at least ask for clarification before you place your order.

An authentic small Japanese restaurant that serves great miso ramen ?. There is also a selection of manga for anime lovers.

A super simple little noodle shop tucked away in the strip-mall along Cedar Hill Cross Road. It's not fancy but it's affordable, and the service and food are both really good. I had their basic soya ramen. The noodles were nice and chewy and the broth (chicken) was fragrant and tasty. My only disappointment was they use a hard boiled egg, instead of an Ajitsuke style egg. I'd definitely go back!

Ordered Miso noodles with extra garlic. A bit pricy for the ramen but the soup and noodles taste pretty good.

β€œWould recommend. Pretty good portions and excellent taste for the price. Only a 20 minute walk from the UVic Campus. Made by the finest. Main dishes are the soups and rice bowls, both very tasty.” -Ton, BSc drop out BBQ Pork Miso Noodle Soup β€œMeat was savoy. Couples well with the bbq flavour. Bean sprouts add a nice touch and noodles are soft and chewy.” -Gunel Corn Miso Noodle Soup β€œVery similar too the bbq soup but with extra vegetables like corn. Good for texture and tastes less salty.” -Rowan Chicken Egg Don β€œSweet and savoury rice bowl. Flavours are incorporated nicely and is quite filling. Even cheaper than the ramen bowls but tastes amazing! Egg is mixed with the chicken and is placed on top of the rice. Generous portions.” -Everett
