Sorry i didnt really like tonights take out. I ordered the beef flank dish and it seemed like they skimped on the beef and filled half of it with fried tofu. The beef was tough, and salty as well. I also ordered the honey garlic pork and it tasted kinda bland. Last time i ordered from here was after christmas and the fried rice was burnt. I have ordered here in the past and have had better experiences so i dont know if its cus i have bad luck or the food quality isnt as it used to be.

The chow mein was dry and cold when we got it. Breaded almond chicken tastes like old grease so leaves an after taste and cold. You really need to get insulated heat bags for delivery. Normally things are ok.

The food was horrible. Got hot and sour soup, which tasted so sweet and ketchup like. I couldn't even stomach it and had to throw the whole thing away. Also got the curry fried rice which had no flavor. Victoria has pretty bad Chinese food but this is just inedible. I usually don't leave negative reviews based on the taste of food as people have different preferences but Im just not sure why anyone would enjoy such sugary "hot and sour soup".

Boyfriend and me were wanting Chinese food, he mentioned food poisoning from here before, in the end we couldn’t find another place open so we went here hoping it was a fluke. When we got home we both were sick, I’ve been throwing up. I don’t think I’ve ever had food poisoning from any resteraunt before. Their buffet was closed so we spend $15 each before tips and the almond chicken was almost entirely breading. It was so hard my fork could not get through it. It had no flavour at all. The sweet and sour pork was also so hard that it hurt my teeth on the breading, the meat itself was so chewy. The chow mein was full of onions which i passionately hate, not even green onions, normal onions which weren’t mentioned in the menu and’s made it impossible to tell what was an opinion and what was A noodle. Then at the bottom of the plate was watery liquid with no flavour and. They forgot my black tea i ordered, and on top of all that we had to wait 30 minutes before we ordered, at least the food was ready in like 5 minutes but seeing that we got sick from it, maybe that part isn’t a good thing. Horrible experience, not going back ever. At this point I am convinced that all positive reviews for this place must be bots.

I was yelled at for switching tables simply for social distancing reasons I overlooked one of the staff completely disrespecting an Uber eats driver and our food overall wasn’t tasty whatsoever. I definitely regret coming here and the one waitress has absolutely no training whatsoever and is completely disrespectful

Of good quality. Combo E for one and hot sour soup. Soup tasty and as expected. Fried rice really good I agree with the comment about good wok hei. Chow mein good with large pieces of actual chicken not the fake canned stuff, ginger beef not very crispy and the batter not my absolute fave but sauce good. Spring roll good. Open late night too. Strong recommendation for takeout.

Do bother going here. We have been here many times in the past years and had the buffet. First time in 2 years. Bad choice. The website says 16.95 for Friday Saturday Sunday buffet. It’s 22. 95 and not available Sunday. Many items, at least 6-7, were 90% empty. We were bringing out more. But them it was only chow Mein or rice that came. Twice they said the shrimp is coming. Finally we were finished and had some dessert as we were told no more shrimp! If you go- go early or the food is at least half empty. When we left most customers were already gone. With almost no one there they brought out some shrimp though the rest of the buffet was scraps only. Find some other place to dine. Hi Tong on Douglas by the red lion hotel is great though no buffet but cheaper and huge combo plates.
