It turned out the coil had a faulty temperature dial.
Repairman came over and determined the problem right away.
We were afraid we had to buy a new range, but thank goodness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a guy come in to look at our oven - waited 5 days to get the service but wanted to support a local business. Needed a part ordered in - told it would take 2-4 weeks to get the part. At week 5, I called and was told the part would be in at some point in the indefinite future. They guy I spoke to was sympathetic. I totally understand the chaos of the economy/infrastructure/transportation - but a call to let me know the situation far before now would have been greatly appreciated. Being 5 weeks without an oven I am back at square one - would like to have known this at least a few weeks ago - they seem like good guys - but dropped the ball on this one.....

Taylor the service guy was fast & efficient, and knew right away what part I needed. Overall cost was less than expected. Really happy with the whole experience :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are well known in Langley for being honest and integral when it comes to charging for repairs. They were very communicative and professional and saved us $2000 it would cost to replace our oven. Very friendly to deal with also - highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called on a Wednesday and the technician was able to be scheduled for the Friday. Our technician Sheldon was very personable, and was able to fix the issue with just a 30 minute Visit. Sheldon was scheduled to arrive later in the afternoon but he was free earlier in the day so called beforehand to check if it was okay for him to arrive early. He arrived on time at the new appointment time and was very professional. I was pleased with the service and would call again for other appliance repairs.
