About Kia of Saskatoon

Kia has a long history of making cars, but actually we started making bicycles back in 1944.

For over 75 years, Kia has been putting people on the move. We have proudly delivered solutions that help people move from one location to another connecting them with each other, and bridging physical and emotional distances between them.

As you can see, movement has always been at the heart of our brand, and moving people at the core of our business, and it will remain like this in the future, regardless of all the changes taking place in our industry.

At Kia of Saskatoon, we’re very proud to be offering the full Kia line-up of cars and SUVs. Every day, we get to see the surprise and excitement of our customers when they experience for themselves the incredible value packed into all of Kia’s vehicles. They drive away excited about how far their dollars went, and how far their new Kia is going to take them. We’re looking forward to sharing that experience with you – these vehicles really do have the power to surprise.

Went to Kia after checking out a couple other dealerships. We were originally looking for a pre-owned. But got convinced to go new and we couldn’t be happier! We love our new Forte. Tom was absolutely amazing to us, explained everything really well. Especially since we’re first time buyers. It was a really intimidated experience but Tom made it much easier on us. Kelly was our finance Wonder Woman. Helped us out a lot in understanding how to finance a car. Really appreciate the great service we got here!

they'll sell you a car without a spare tire, they'll do anything to get the car off their lot. Improper treatment of customers and only value a sale, after that youre rendered useless to them and treated as such. Waited 3.5 hours for them to "clean" the inside of a car, and weeks for things as simple as a spare tire and a block heater cord. Avoid Kia of Saskatoon, there's at least 5 other budget dealerships and multiple other ffun locations so don't waste your time with these inexperienced reps. Not to mention the multiple problems the cars actually have after they do their "inspection".

Do not buy from them!! Avoid them.. if you need a Kia go to Kia in Regina as they at least treat customers kindly. We bought a 2021 Telluride in April 2021. Come winter we discovered the heat doesn’t work while the gas is not being pushed. We have had it looked at by Kia and their β€œfix” is for us to turn the fan down when taking our foot off the brake to avoid having ice cold air blown at us. Sadly their β€œfix” still blows ice cold air. They have no permanent fix as they said this is common and the manager has one that does the same thing. Sadly had this been disclosed to us when purchasing because we wouldn’t have bought it. There are many people who have the same issue with their Telluride and apparently there is no fix. Sadly we are stuck with a brand new vehicle we aren’t able to drive comfortably in winter because if we broke down or got stuck we’d freeze to death. Thanks Kia!!

I had a very bad experience at this dealership. My wife and I wanted our first car, something that in Saskatoon is a basic necessity, almost like a home heating system in winter. we were introduced to the seller, very attentive, we explained that, as we had just arrived in Canada, we had not yet built our credit score. We were very detailed and direct with the seller, and he seemed to understand the situation well. we passed the data we wanted about the vehicle, value, how much we could pay per month, and always followed by the salesperson with a "Of course, that is possible! Don't worry". The car was just what we wanted. Low mileage, a little old, but very well maintained and at an attractive value. And then the problems started. We try to negotiate a little, winter tires, put in a remote start, or even lower the price of the car a little. The seller was adamant, and he wanted to wait for the maintenance service to see if that price would still be that low. So far so good, because it is a very attractive car, we made a deposit to save the vehicle's purchase preference. The following week, we tried to get in touch to get both the maintenance report and the funding proposals, and we didn't get a response for two days. The response came with a request for more personal data. During this contact, I was presented with 3 purchase proposals. One for newcomers to Canada, with higher interest rates, one with relatively normal interest rates (5 -7%) with a downpayment of 3k in 40-50 months, and one that would be by loan. I understood that they were just ideas for proposals, but when I asked if the values in the real proposal would be very different, I heard that no, it would be around that. I gave the ok to start the process with normal rates. The other day I decided to go with a friend for a test drive, so that he could get to know the car and guide me if it was a good choice, as I felt if it was good to drive. It was then that another attendant, Brett, attended to us. I have never had such a bad experience with a seller. Contrary to what had been said before, and without any real proposal yet, he said that now the financing would have to be with a down-payment of 5k. And this was without introducing himself, with an air of superiority and having no interest in attending to us. When he said he would clear my doubts with the original seller, he replied "what doubts?" I asked about the car report, he said he would get it, but he wanted to know if everything was ok to sign. Sign what, if you didn't even have a funding proposal? Then he said that only after seeing the report and being sure of the funding would I speak to my wife and we would give the answer. With real sarcasm, he said fine, but he wanted to sell the car. The next day I sent more messages to the original seller, with no response from him. The answer the next day by the same Brett, now saying that, in addition to the 5k, the financing would be in 18 months at a rate of 19%. I questioned all that, why so many changes. Without a response I sent another message asking for a refund, with a quick reply from Brett "Just bring the card you put the deposit on with. We are going to sell the car before you are here on Saturday but I am removing your deposit from it ." Something extremely unethical and unprofessional. On Friday, without replying to the previous email, they made me a new offer, still very bad compared to what it was initially. Wouldn't the car be sold before I got there? Or was it a lie? When taking the repayment of the hold, the last proposal was to take out a loan (the worst of all). I left there with the certainty of having the worst service and also of never doing business with that branch again. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Sales person was nice. Test drove a car, was really interested in it and was ready to buy it. Why did I not move forward? Well, when they want to FORCE 5000$ worth of extras on a β‰ˆ30,000$ purchase (mainly protection packages and useless insurance) that no-one really needs (yes, it's a cash grab for them), I am simply not falling for that. So what should be a β‰ˆ33,500$ purchase (when you include the block Heather and taxes) turns into a β‰ˆ38,500$ one... I asked to take all those extras out and was told they couldn't. Really? How could you not take out a protection package out? It's not like it's glued to the car or something. Anyway, I walked across the street and bought myself a new NISSAN. Yes, they offered these coverage packages as well, but were happy to not include anything I did not want to buy. I noticed that any dealers belonging to the FFUN will try to do this. (Hyundai, VW, KIA, etc.)

Thank you James and service dept for the great service with my Optima. The circumstances that brought me to Kia of Saskatoon sucked. However, for such a major fix i appreciate all your service. My Optima isnt 100% yet but we are close. Thanks again.

Can't say enough about the service department, specifically Sarah. I took in my vehicle with very low expectations due to the "dealership" reputation and Sarah completely turned that narrative upside down. Fair, responsive, caring and well spoken. If you are bringing in your vehicle, I would specifically ask for her because good news or bad, she will handle it with professionalism and empathy. I will be bringing my vehicle back for maintenance because of the service I received from Sarah.

The staff were courteous and helpful. I ended up being late for my appointment because I originally drove to a wrong dealership all the way across town! They helped me anyway, and I had a pleasant experience there. You can't always say that when you go for service work on your vehicle!
