★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another update: called as directed and the owner then suggested the tire pressure sensor was broken when the car was taken in. He did offer to put a sensor on for us but at this point we are going to the dealership as they have the proper equipment. He did also suggest we pit tape over the light on the dashboard!!!!No mention of the damaged rim. His business is obviously flourishing if he can afford to lose regular clients...
Update: owner has asked us to.discuss tomorrow. If resolved review will be changed...furious!!!! used these guys numerous times with absolutely no issues. Unfortunately the same can't be said for today. Seems the owner has hired some monkeys...tire sensor ripped off, sensors going off, rims gouged and the lug tool dropped into our cup holder for 3 feet away...not impressed at all. ..sad thing is I was so pleased the previous service we had received, i have referred many people to them...never again. Car went in in pristine condition and now I face a $1500 bill to.rectify the damage done

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Late shout out to these guys. On a SUNDAY they replaced the tire on my Subaru when no one else could. Big save.
The place isn’t the cleanest and the staff isn’t impeccably dressed, but, honestly, I liked that. This place is legit. They don’t f around.
Go here if you want a no frill, high quality service. Recommended without hesitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to get winter tires off, they broke a wheel stud on my car, didn't fix it, didn't even offer too. Just told me to go see a mechanic. Still charged me full price, it was 100$ which is steep already for a tire exchange. Terrible experience, highly recommended you go somewhere else.

People is friendly and service is good and fast. No appointment is required. First come first served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not sure where to start with this commentary. First, the first come, first served, policy was refreshing, with no rushed feeling on the way there. Next item is the price!! I was quoted $250 for exactly the same job that Kawartha Tires charged $90. No, there is no luxury waiting area, or piped in music, but I'll give that up any day to save $110. Finally, I was advised, in a friendly manner, of a few safety measures I needed to take. These were very down to earth people and will definitely go there for my summer tire change. Thank you Kawartha Tires, see you in the spring.
