B	Bruce Van Tol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going to Marty's for about 19 years now. Good haircut for a reasonable price, and there are always interesting characters and conversations here. Marty and his daughter, Theresa, have kept the old-timey Barber Shop alive.

I've had my head shaved (all different lengths) by many hair dressers and some barbers but, I've never been as satisfied with the results as I was after going here. Great old time barber shop experience, fast service and an excellent price. The 3 pet birds in their cage in the shop are a cute bonus. I got to pat the friendly one on the head, so soft and sweet that "Sophia Loren" is. Marty's been barbering for 65 years and he sure knows his craft. I'm so happy I found this place and will only go here from now on.

A scissor cut , at least to me, gives a more natural cut and less split ends. He's also in a good location by the Trent trail offering lots of parking. I should mention that they're cash only so come prepared if not the Esso station on the corner has an ATM.

However, just had my first experience at “Marty’s”, with Brett Williams, who may be young, but has an old school professionalism, and expertise beyond his years! Great cut with moustache trim for $20 (with tip) Outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Brett and Marty both do an excellent job, for (quite literally) a fraction of the price of the other professional barber shops in town like Henry's. Very professional, and with the classic old time barber shop atmosphere, you won't find a better mix of class and value than at Marty's.
