★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: Knocked off a star. Problem persists(slight steering wheel shake at higher speeds) Balancing wasn’t needed, can see where the old weights were removed on the rim and replaced with new ones in the same position.
Original review: Took my wife’s van in yesterday to check the balance I was charged $36 a tire $144 for just rebalancing wow! Pricey considering my truck tires were put on rims balanced and nitrogen filled for 1/2 that. Easy lesson learned and I should have asked the price before service myself. Nice clean facility and polite staff, would return in a pinch but there’s better options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to kal tire on march 24 to have tires put in on a Lexus and they forgot to reset the TPMS light. Had to go in march 25 again, and the tech tried to reset it but the light stayed on and I was told to just drive it for a while and see if goes out. I told the tech that it has a full size spare and he may need to scan that as well, and he replied that it was not needed. I left thinking that’s odd.. so I called the dealership and spoke a mechanic and was told that the spare needed to be scanned. I also checked online which confirms that the spare needed to be scanned. So I went back to kal tire again on march 28 and told another tech about the situation and he listened and scanned the spare. Now the TPMS sensor is off bc it was finally done. This was extremely frustrating as it took a lot of time out of my work schedule to have an annoying light on. This is something kal tire does everyday, reset TPMS sensors but they couldn’t figure mine out! Very disappointed as I have been a happy customer before all this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with kal tire for my replacement summer tires. Right from step one on my inquiry and booking they were pleasant and knowledgeable.
Fast forward to my appointment day….. I ran into a snag with getting my suv in and they were very accommodating and willing to assist. I definitely recommend this Kal-tire Ellerslie location.
