Johnny G’s Restaurant & Bar first opened its doors in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada in 1987, the name proudly taken from founder and current owner, Johnny Giannakis. At the time, Johnny G’swas the fourth Late Night Restaurant in Winnipeg. The first location was on Osborne and Morley in the Fort Rouge area.

R	Ricky Bhamra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ @johnnygswpg has an amazing deal for Chicken Fingers on Mondays!!!!!?? Chicken Fingers with the upgraded Poutine instead of Fries. These were quite good!! The poutine was a bit lacking in cheese but overall pretty good as well!!?? Then we got the Peppercorn Sirloin which comes with Fettucini Alfredo!! Pretty damn good!! Good portion sizes as well!?? Overall a great place to hang out late nights with your friends and grab some grub!!?? Also, it is a pub so it obviously serves alcohol but closes earlier due to the tough and scary times our society is goi ng through. But keep your distance and wear masks and be mindful of others when you do go out or have a need to!!

We ordered two medium steak, mine comes with mid well and my friend’s are well done. I know this is not a steakhouse and the steak is on the special menu, but the doneness is important as well. Overall, 5 stars!!!!!! Again milkshake is so good!!!!
V	V Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this staple in my food and I hurt my gum. Called the restaurant and the server just say “oh that is so weird because we don’t use staples in the kitchen” ???? I asked to have the manager call me so they are aware of the problem. But it has been over a month, there is nobody called back for follow up. We didn’t ask for any money back just wanted to draw their attention. If my kid eat this she could be in danger. Very upset and disappointed about how they handled this issue.

The food quality and price is great for all the available options on the menu! My absolute favourite in Winnipeg and love to regularly visit with friends and family!

It is also between the few places in town that is open late, so great for a late night snack or drink. The stake and pasta is my favorite, and it only costs $11!
