★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine for patching tires - wouldn't recommend for anything else.
Came here once to fix my tire and they were honest and fixed it at a reasonable rate. Hoping to make it my regular place.
Second time they legit tried to charge my grandpa $1200 for completely unnecessary work. Fortunately he called me up and I spoke with Fountain Tire and I suggested they check the issue on Google for this model of car - something you can find within 3 seconds - and it came up immediately. Completely separate issue that they didn't even consider. If I hadn't intervened it would have been a $1200 wasted to not even fix the issue (on top of the cost for the actual issue). I really get the impression they didn't even care that they were completely on the wrong track here either.
Avoid this location Fountain Tire if possible. If you have to go here because you work downtown - always do your research before and after they give you their diagnosis - based on what some others have said it seems they are great at patching tires but now I can't trust them anymore for other work. Not mad; just disappointed.

Their customer service using text message to communicate is good.
From the beginning to the end, I have no complaint of their customer service. They did a good job. Thank you.

Not good to work with in a time-sensitive situation.
They wasted over a week of my time while I waited to get a quote from them - which I never got despite asking twice. They also misinformed me on some issues with the car which were not actually issues; they were just not familiar with my make and model.
Update: If you see their reply below you will see that they intended to reach out - this is just to try and make it look like they care. I sent them an email and they never responded. I believe the line about not being in their database is also a tactic to try to discredit negative reviews (it seems to be their standard response if you look at previous reviews). I am definitely in their database as at the shop they could pull up my record from 5+ years ago on a different vehicle from another province.
This company is not worth dealing with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so thankful for fountain tire. They fit me in with no notice, gave me a thorough inspection and did not try to upsell me. For a single female that is wonderful. WAY too often I go to car places and they try to convince me I need extra things. I will probably keep coming back here for life because they didn't try once to sell me something extra. I also love the text message service with the inspection report and of course, the airmiles!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joe was able to squeeze me in, same day, without an appointment after I had an unfortunate encounter with a pothole. I knew my rim was mangled and a lot of other places probably would’ve tried to sell me a new one, but they were able to fix it for a very fair price. You get good, honest service here and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Once in the office I spoke with Joe and he proceeded all the paperwork. He even was very clear in explaining everything to me (my aliment reading the rebate). Over all this was a great experience.
