The poorest experience - by far - I’ve ever had trying to rent a car. The “Store Manager” (as he entitled himself, but he clearly isn’t even close capable to being one) denied our car rental that was already prepaid for not having a Canadian driver’s license. Told me to call support in a very disrespectful, careless, and unprofessional manner and, when I did, the customer service rep told me that I was able to rent.
Even with the speakerphone on and with the customer service person telling the rep that I should be able to rent, the brilliant “Store Manager” still refused and said that he was already being helpful by “listening to me” lol. He also said that what they say on the phone is not true as they just “want to get you off their line”.
If you want to reserve a car and actually be able to rent it, please go elsewhere, this location is a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not often I ever have a complaint, however today I'm left with a customer service experience that should not be as such. Picking up: the vehicle of choice was not available, the exterior was dirty, no walk through and the staff were unpleasant(or I was left with that feeling). Dropping off the vehicle: was awkward as the staff did not know how to read the mileage and asked if I could have a look. I then received a call about 45mins later claiming very slight damage on the front left side and some additional paperwork was required. I have not had a followup from the manager, which again shows a lack of concern or proper training in customer service. Other rental companies in the area have much better service....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really inconvenient accident happen to my vehicle while I was at work and Avis car rental was the closest place I had. Gave them a call in which they were helpful in. Came in after work and was able to leave with a nice rental car within 15 minutes. The staff was very helpful and the service was great. The price is good for what it is, so I would definitely recommend this place. Simple, fast, and reliable.

Being that my rental was a one way rental I was stranded in Winnipeg forced to pay a ton of money for a last minute flight to get out of here. I am disgusted on how I was treated and feel screwed over by them. Unbelievable how bad this was

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually rent from Enterprise on Ellice, so I was a bit disappointed they couldn't beat this location's rate (via 3rd party booking site). But Jessie (team lead), Shawn and Azan certainly did not disappoint! Exceptional and friendly customer service, very accommodating. I booked an economy car and received a relatively new Toyota (Corolla?). Would definitely return and recommend. Thanks guys!
