I saw John give a talk about sport performance training in 2009 and it changed how I trained my athletes (back when I was a trainer). Total game-changer. Years later John and his team helped me overcome an injury that several other health professionals failed to diagnose properly. I highly recommend working with John for your movement, injury, performance, and/or rehab needs, or anything in that ballpark. Also if you need a speaker on movement or performance.

With limb girdle muscular dystrophy, my physicality and fight away from disability is constant. It hasn’t been until I began to work with John that the thought wasn’t as crippling as my illness. Previously I had worked with trainers and other physiotherapists who either were not invested and unwilling to push me in fear of doing more harm, or trainers who viewed weakness as a simple problem where pain to gain was the only answer. In these approaches, my muscular dystrophy only got worse. It wasn’t until I started to work with John that I can see improvements. He is invested not only with his immense knowledge when working together, but his time when we are not. Most of all, he has proven to be someone who can be trusted with something as vulnerable and fragile as my health. He has taken the weight of this disease and made it a lighter load for me to carry. For that, I could not recommend him higher. To John, thank you. To anyone looking for someone to help elevate your physicality and take your individual challenges seriously, look no further.

I had my hip replaced just before the pandemic happened, and was at risk of a bad outcome because I wouldn’t be able to see a rehabilitation specialist during my recovery. My regular online sessions with John have been essential to regain my strength and movement. He helped me return to competitive sailboat racing feeling confident, strong and without any limitations.

I have seen John over the years for different ailments. Most recently he has been helping me recover from knee replacement surgery. John is a master kinesiologist. He knows his stuff, inside and out. If one thing doesn't work, or hurts, he finds another way. He has been essential to my recovery. I always recommend him to friends.

Before working with John, I was constantly injuring myself through weight lifting and was failing to see strength gains. After merely 2 sessions, he incorporated proper activation and stretching exercises into my warmup as well as modified some key moves. I haven't injured myself once since then and have increased my weights across the board. Would highly recommend!

I had almost lost hope to continue to work out due to sever low back pain I was experiencing back in December 2021. However, I was lucky enough to meet with John. I found him very knowledgeable and patient. He instructed me how to do each workout correctly and precisely to prevent injury and at the same time strengthen my weak muscles. He also refered me to one of the best specialists in Toronto, and I can say that he has been the only health care provider who truly cared about me and my concerns. He went above and beyond to help me regain my physical health. Thanks John and god bless you.

I have worked with John for 6 years and have achieved great improvements in my strength and physical capabilities. John is outstanding as a professional kinesiologist and always designs my evolving programs with my specific and individual needs and limitations in mind. John is diligent about creating exercise programs that work to achieve goals without causing stress or injury because they are completely individualized and supervised. As well John makes himself available for explanations and fine tuning of exercises.
