THEY TOOK 800$ from a new mother with a 2 month old baby during covid and then requested more money from us in order for our stuff to put on another truck just to get here. They will lie and say your stuff with be delieverd on a certain day then the day of tell u they have 21 days to deliver it. The sales reps have absolutely no idea what they are doing and not to mention they have horrible customer service. Swearing at me while I’m driving a 1000 miles expecting my truck to be here today with ALLLLL of my sons belongings. I will be contacting a lawyer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dont like to belittle anyone but this company are not movers. Sent two young men to move my son. They appeared 1 1/2hours late .. moved one box at a time and did nit protect furniture. Spoke to owner today who was less than cordial. Would not let me speak, said my son and friend were not very nice.....hmmm.. maybe the 11/2 hours late caused them to be a bit testy ... he then said their next move was late because of our move.......maybe if they had have been there at 8.00 as confirmed instead of 9:25 would have something to do with it. Anyhow very unprofessional. One very valuable piece if furniture was scratched. My son has before and after pictures. Very disappointed with this company.
They are definately not movers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found Crosstown Express through an ad on Kijiji. The rate was competitive. I called on a Monday 6 PM, spoke with Jay, let him know I was wanting a move for Saturday. He said he'll call the next morning to discuss details as he wasn't at the office. When he called the next day, I let him know that I went a different way and would no longer need his services. His response was "Thanks for wasting my time." And hung up. Very unprofessional, I'm glad I cancelled. Can't imagine what the interaction would have been like if I had to deal with an issue after the move was done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used Crosstown Express for moving. I did not have much stuff, but for me the moving was smooth and very effective.
They came on time, gave me a call before arrival, kept in contact the whole time (Paul kept sending me texts to update me). They were very professional, friendly and moved everything within one hour as I estimated for the move. I have a digital piano and I told them to be careful moving it and they did. I even had a mirror that I did not wrap or anything, and they did not break it.
So happy for the quality I got compared to what I paid. Thank you!
