T	Tejas Yadav on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable accommodation if you are merely looking for place to crash after long day of snowboarding. I paid $40 for a bed, very reasonable. The bed was clean and came along with a comforter, bedsheet & towel. Bathroom was shared but well maintened.
G	Gavin Macdonnell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Closest thing to a perfect hostel I've ever seen. Friendly and helpful staff. There is free parking 1 block behind the building. Everything in this hostel is done with perfection, excellent systems for organisation, sanitisation, and a simple check in and check out process that only uses a single card. You receive a towel and a bed sheet when checking it. The kitchen is very big, with plenty of cutlery and crockery. Beds are very private, they are big, wooden, and of a good quality. There are drawers for all of your stuff. Central location in Jasper that is walking distance away from all amenities. 20 minute drive from Marmot Basin Ski Resort.

Shared bathroom and shower down the hall. Room was warm and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Shared kitchen in the basement. Plenty of donated food when your money gets tight. Excellent staff.
A	Adam Caron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ December 12 2021 So I was driving west and I stop to see what this Hostel had to offer, 45$ a night, a day after taxes. Didn't book online, just walked in and paid. Shared room with a max of 8, but in December only 3 slept in that room, was quit and fine. It was 4 or so parking spot and my little yaris hatchback got up that ramp. I spend the rest of that day exploring Jasper walking, next morning drove west to home.

Me and my girlfriend decided to hop out into the Rockies over the weekend and just got lucky getting a last minute reservation in Jasper and more so lucky to have the perfect room in this property. The hostel itself is very conveniently located and the corner room on first floor had lovely views. The street view just down and the mountains in the backdrop. We basked in both the sunrise and sunset scenes in all the glory. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped with almost everything one can expect in a kitchen. Definitely returning back when when ever we hit Jasper. Highly recommended.

But, the warm, accommodating staff and the amenities are why I'll come back as well. We really loved our stay here! It's a very cute interior with a great kitchen downstairs, and even laundry. Family of 6 (with kids ages 12,9, 3 & 1)- it's definitely family friendly, as other reviews have said. Thank you Downtown Hostel for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

I could go on for a long time... it's affordable. it's quiet, super well managed, there is parking, there is linen that's clean and not sketch pillows that won't frighten you! I'm super picky. And did I say everything is very clean and did I say clean especially for a hostel! And all the guests are super cool without being too invasive, polite helpful and social still too. Another small business on your affordable must go. And a fantastic patio. And around the corner from a fun, safe pub with excellent food.
N	Nikki Online on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jasper Downtown Hostel is professionally run, with friendly & helpful staff who will go out of their way to accommodate you. We arrived earlier than our check-in time, & they happily allowed us to store our bags & use their facilities until check-in time. We stayed in a private room with a double-bunk & a small kitchen & private bathroom, which was very clean, modern & well-kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable & the room's facilities were excellent. The hostel & its guests were quiet, & there was little disturbance during the night. The location was very convenient & within walking distance from everything you'd need in town, as well as hiking trails. I'd 100% recommend staying here if you're heading through Jasper!
