Another thing is that, I put a deposit for a bike then found the one I liked better closer to me as I live in Alberta and they just refunded me back in minutes after sent Janette an emial.
C	Corey Young on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PLEASE READ UNTIL THE END. Recently went down to Victoria from Nanaimo with a buddy to pick up our motorcycles which were in for service. My buddies bike is an Indian Chief Springfield Darkhorse which was at Island Motorcycle Company and mine is their direct competitor which was across the way. After picking up our bikes we headed back up island when I noticed my bike was smoking and dripping oil all over the place just 10 minutes into our ride back up the Malahat. We pulled over and I called the service department where I just picked up my bike from to tell them what was happening. They said they can't get my bike back to their shop because the truck they use to transport bikes was up island. They told me to call a tow company and left it up for me to figure out how to get my bike back to them after I just spent a small fortune on service upgrades. As I was fumbling around trying to figure out who tows motorcycles my buddy called Island Motorcycle Company and told me they were on their way to come help. Within 20 minutes two guys came down and hauled my bike back down to the place I just had service work done. THATS RIGHT they picked up a direct competitors bike and dropped it back off their. I have not bought anything from this company. When I asked why they were so willing to help one of the guys said because it doesn't matter what brand you ride, if you are a stranded motorcyclist and they could help out then they would. Thats the sort of people you are dealing with down at Island Motorcycle Company. If you are in the market for a new motorcycle due yourself a favour and check these guys out.

Then I read stories like the the one here from IMG on Facebook when this dealership rescued a biker in distress and his Harley that just left the Harley dealership and it makes me even more proud to belong to this family. I’m an Island expat myself, and I will be sure to visit this dealership on my next ride to the island. You guys exemplified what “Bikers are brothers “ means ????

I loved how I was able to take it on a test ride. I would highly recommend this store to anyone for their motorcycle needs!! Thank-you!

The long-distance purchase was easy and they were super patient keeping the bike there when I got delayed picking it up. Also, very much appreciated Damien coming to the shop on a Sunday when they were closed so I could pick it up since that was the only day I could travel there.
M	M G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to test ride a Triumph T120. I rode the bike once, but came to the shop a number of times to talk details and numbers. I found the salesman (I believe his name was Peter) helpful and reasonable to work with. While I didn't end up purchasing a bike at this dealer, I did find them reasonable and my decision wasn't based on a negative experience. i did really appreciate that they let me test ride the bike. SG Power told me that I couldn't ride the bike I was considering which is absolutely ridiculous.
D	David Briere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a bike there but left with a sour taste in my mouth. Their sales department uses questionable techniques to squeeze more money out of their customers. The salesman checked my trade-in, we did the usual back and forth until we had a price we could both agree on, I did my down payment and I thought that was it. They did an inspection of the motorcycle and came back with a bill for maintenance that they claimed had to be done on the bike that they wanted to charge on top of the already agreed-to price. I have done a few trade-ins in my life and have never seen this before. Normally the trade-in value is significantly less than the resale price to cover for this sort of thing and still allow the dealership to make a profit. To add insult to injury they arbitrarily rounded up the amount on the bill by a few hundred dollars and failed to provide me with a valid reason to do so. I ended up getting them to split the difference of the bill and got the new bike still but I left the dealership angry with the feeling that I have been ripped off. I only gave them two stars because at least their parts and service people have been very helpful. But I'll NEVER deal with their sales department again. If I ever buy a Triumph again I'll take the ferry.
H	Henry Han on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just purchased a Triumph Trident 660. My friend picked up the last one in Vancouver and so I called them to ask if they had any left. Damian said he had 1 left and 2 minutes later after I put down my deposit over the phone the bike was mine. Flew in from Vancouver a few days later to pick up the bike and the experience was A++, from Damian in sales, Matt in parts (bought a bunch of add ons, gave me a discount and pulled off magic in getting my bike slotted in for install) to Janette in finance who made sure my visit was seamless and efficient. Can't say enough about this crew can't wait to buy my 2nd bike from them!.
