Extremely unprofessional, run from them! Ironclad is the worst company I have dealt with in Winnipeg. I lived in one of their units at Riverstone heights for a year and I wouldn't recommend them. I still waiting for my security deposit from them. Now the worst part is their disorganization, I left my unit in February 2021 (the month my leasing was over), and they improperly charged me the month of March 2021. Now the company owes me my security deposit and one month of improper rent. To solve things with them consider calling "Residential Tenancies Branch". Flavio

I had the opportunity to tour one of their properties, and I have to say it was one of the most impressive apartments I’ve ever been in. From the concierge service at the front door, Starbucks kiosk and then gym, car wash, saunas up to the roof top patio then back down to the games room, they have it all! Very friendly staff, took their time to show me around and answer all of my questions. Great experience.

I have never dealt with a leasing company this unprofessional and incompetent. The properties are well maintained, and renting from them is overall a standard experience. I have no complaints about the property itself, but don't have high expectations when you decide to leave. They will take weeks just to answer an email, ignore your requests and concerns, and withhold your deposit an unreasonable amount of time. You will feel like you're being punished for leaving. I feel like it is a much bigger issue with the company itself, rather than the individual Resident Managers. I have been led to believe by my experience that there is little to no support for the Resident Managers beyond their own abilities.

Matt has been the best to communicate with. Genuinely cares about his tenants and maintaining a positive experience for everyone, not just for the new tenants. We have become friends over the last 8 months living at Lakeview Pointe in West Kelowna, BC. Would highly recommend Matt move up in this company because he could seriously turn around a lot of areas of improvement within the business. Thank you for always having our back throughout the growing pains of a new build.

I am absolutely in love with my place. This is my first apartment. The place is quiet, clean and modern. I love how considerate, kind and helpful the management team are. My partner and I enjoy the view and the sunlight we get every morning in our living room. Compared to all the other places , The Onyx is very affordable and the amenities are amazing plus a Starbucks station in the building! How cool is that!!

Copied from my friends experience A week ago, I attempted to post a Google review for Lot 6 specifically and found that the review itself was not visible to the public. However, a few of my photos had posted properly. So I proceeded to try and post the same Google review on Ironclad Properties Inc. so that the company could see it, but I got the same result: my Google reviews weren't visible to anyone but me. I'm not sure why that is because Google's customer service won't assist me but I noticed that Lot 6 is having an Open House tomorrow and I want people to be informed about what they will have to deal with if they end up signing a lease here. For the first seven weeks of living here, we had fire alarms going off at least once a week. I documented some of them, specifically the ones that happened after midnight: one was on Boxing Day and the other just ten days ago. The one that happened ten days ago started around 1am and proceeded to last about an hour and 22 minutes, where it stopped every five minutes or so and then would start again. None of the residents were given an explanation about what had happened but my husband and I had found the fire alarm/sprinkler system temporarily out of service notice on the door two days later. After he'd spoken to the office, the first email the residents of Lot 6 as a whole ever received was sent and all it said was that they were investigating. No mention of the notice at all. The next set of photos shows a water pipe burst on the 3rd floor of the building, and it leaking down onto the sidewalk below. It also started to leak into one of the 2nd floor amenity rooms through the windows. This issue caused the fire alarms to go off yet again, however, it was during the evening (around 8pm that time) on January 26th. No communication went out about that ordeal either. Lastly, a more personal issue happened for us. We noticed we were having to have the heat up between 23-25 degrees Celsius depending on where in the apartment we were in throughout the winter months, usually closer to the windows felt colder. And after the water leaked in through the amenity room previously, we thought, "hmm, what if our windows aren't sealed properly either?" We checked and could see water spots on the blinds and along the window frame once the weather started to get warmer/meltier. We've had two different in-suite maintenance visits about the windows but no real information about what is happening going forward so far. Now, that covers all the stuff I could prove with photos, but there's more. We've had three of the four smoke detectors in our suite have to have the batteries replaced within the first four months of living here, and we can easily hear our neighbors above and below at any time of the day. After several attempts of asking the management to speak with them, we finally took it upon ourselves to talk to them, and they were kind enough to oblige as the building's soundproofing is laughable. I hope no one else has to deal with the stuff we've had to deal with for the four months we've lived here while the building has remained under construction.

If your a student, don't go for these guys. Literally cancelled my application without any specific reasons. Been trying to contact them via phone and no answer or call back. The Onyx Pembina which is owned by Ironclad, doesn't even know their Head Office number. Already payed my security deposit and they said, they'll send it back in 3-4 weeks ? really? that long?

I live at the Onyx Property located at 1792 Pembina Highway and it is a wonderful location! Close to groceries, conveniences, most major bus routes, delicious restaurants, and the area is still developing. It's great to see all the new features that are being developed in the area. Highly recommended.
