Inn at Laurel Point

The views from hotel was great. Rooms are good for family. Staff was so helpful. We enjoyed our stay and kids enjoyed the small swimming pool also. The offer through BC ferries was deal of the day. Stayed for 2 nights and walking around was so easy. Free parking if you booked through BC ferries. We will try AURA.. next time.!!!

Taste great! Nice get away. Perfect location for wedding. I attended two weddings. The first one didn’t have the rimless pond. However, this time the pond was finished, the view was purely fascinating! The food is simply great, especially the ginger honey glazed karage chicken! Must try dish!

Our room was extremely average and because they do not make up the rooms (for Covid reasons) it’s hard to know where the value is. We have stayed at other hotels during the pandemic who do make up your rooms, they just only enter when you are not there. We spent two nights here. The first night we were awoken by loud screaming and sobbing from a neighbouring room from 3:00-4:00am. We tried to sleep in but a housekeeper was dumping glass bottles right outside our door first thing in the morning. I went to the front desk in the morning to tell them about our terrible sleep. She said she had another of the same room she could move us to, and she would call our room in a few minutes after she ironed out the details. I went back to the room and packed up our bags and waited for a call but since we wanted to get on with our day we stopped by the front desk on our way out and the woman said she had forgotten to call us but does not see the point in moving us because the loud parties were checking out. That’s fine but I would have liked to know that instead of packing up and waiting for a call. All in all, we had a poor stay and when expressing it during our stay and at check out to give the Inn an opportunity to ensure we would return in the future, we were met with “sorry” but no solutions. A family member of mine highly recommended us staying here and we were looking forward to having an experience similar to theirs but definitely did not.

We were so excited to stay at this hotel for our 25th anniversary and it turned out even better than we could have imagined. The view our standard room had was phenomenal. We were able to watch float planes take off and land and ferries arrive. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. This hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Fisherman's Wharf, downtown, Chinatown, the Harbour.

The venue and service is above and beyond at the Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria. Amazing service for hosting a large event gathering, attention to detail, and a dedication to professionalism that is top notch. Thank you to Krista, Cassie, and all the folks who helped me our council meeting and awards gala a huge success. The food was way better than the typical hotel food at events, it was delicious! It was our first in-person gathering since before the pandemic, it was so much more special because of the location and service. We will definitely be back next year!

Stayed here last weekend. Amazing service!! People at the front desk were super friendly, fast check in/out. Room service was very accommodating, thank you Dorothy! Great location, super clean hotel room, secure parking. Would absolutely come back. ❤️ Also had unexpected visits from Daryl the seagull at our balcony. ? Great room view.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. I was expecting a bit more in regard to the quality of the rooms given the reputation of the place. While the room was nice with some great updates present, I did note things throughout the room that reminded me of the dated nature of the building. Some of these included sections of peeling wallpaper, yellowed plastic ceiling light fixtures and smoke alarms, and an ancient thermostat connected to a heating/cooling system that you will def hear as it adjust temperature throughout the night. The walls are not well insulated and I did hear snippets of conversation from elsewhere on my floor. I also found the bed to be quite hard on my back and after two nights I am excited to be returning home to my own bed. They could def get better beds. The room was a good size though and the view from my room was def the best part. The staff were fantastic as far as my interactions went. Check in and check out went smoothly and the front desk staff were very friendly. I cannot comment on cleaning services as my stay was during covid and the rooms are not cleaned during a guests stay at this time. Location of the hotel was the best part! It was fantastic being within walking distance if some amazing restaurants, cool shops, and everything around the harbor area. Overall I did enjoy my stay and would return again.

My friend and I booked a 3 night stay for Spring Break. We booked through BC ferry vacations, got a GREAT rate, Google it, you will thank me! Upon arrival we were treated to five star service. I was met at the roundabout by my car door being opened, escorted inside and greeted by staff members welcoming smiles. On a mask note, they were very courteous and put masks on if they felt the customer preferred, or off, they read their guests cues, which was even more welcoming! Check in was easy, as I checked in, the same kind gentleman whom opened my door etc was taking our luggage to our room. Entering the room, it was amazing. Gorgeous harbour views, sitting area facing outward and a sizeable balcony to enjoy the sights. During our stay we needed wine glasses and cutlery and that was provided promptly and in an extremely friendly manner. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and will be returning! Thank you to the amazing staff who made it so relaxing and seamless!
