And what an experience it was. Elton knows so much about the craft brewery process and introduced us to three different breweries, one of which is also a distillery of whisky. WOW! What a day. We invited another couple to join us and they were a wee bit concerned that four hours was too long. It was not. We learned so much and tasted so much. The only rules, according to Elton, were to try everything and, secondly, to try things three times separated by about 40 seconds. So, if you’re wanting to know more about how beer is brewed, how so many flavours are now marketed and how to just simply enjoy your day, then this tour is for you! If coming in on a cruise and you’re looking for a way to spend an enjoyable afternoon, this tour is for you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The tour was amazing. Elton was on time and the four of us had the van to ourselves. Elton knows his stuff about breweries. I learned things I had no idea about before. The tour was a blast with a great mix of breweries and lots of different beers. Even a whiskey tasting at one spot. Highly recommend booking with West Coast. We will certainly book again if back in Victoria.

Elton excellently planned an amazing afternoon for our group (including arranging a pick up for us outside of Victoria). He was ultra knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating to all of our requests. One of our guests was unable to drink and she was catered to as well with lots of non-alcoholic craft sodas and options. Elton made time for lunch for all of us at Church and State winery and allowed us to enjoy the day without feeling rushed. Elton's passion for the job is vibrant and his strong relationships with the wineries shines through in every interaction. We could not have had a better time and we highly recommended West Coast Brewery Tours! Thanks for having us, we hope to be back soon!
