We arrived early and our request for an early check in got us to the top floor with a fantastic view of the ferries in the harbour. We were so thrilled to have the extra relaxing time as we were only visiting Victoria for one night. The location of the hotel is perfect as my wife wanted to go to Fishermans Wharf, and the Legislative Dining Room for lunch, both just minutes walking distance. The BC Ferries package deal made the trip very easy and trouble free! The lady at the front desk and security man were both very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Victoria classic.

It’s small for a king with harbour view and no extras like a corkscrew, pen/ paper or a bottle of water to use in coffee maker. The amount of tea and coffee packages provided was good, robes and nice soaps from England. Two sinks is a nice touch, one outside the bathroom. Comfortable chairs by the window to write or read with a nice view. Bathroom fan is crazy loud.
K	Kamilah Maudsley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost all of the attractions we wanted to see were within walking distance of the hotel (the legislature, Royal BC Museum, Fisherman's Wharf, various churches). The service was excellent, and the rooms are comparable to the Empress, but at a better price. We stayed in the older, unrenovated rooms but we found the Victorian-inspired furnishings charming. The only complaint is that the pipes sometimes create a strange knocking in the walls. Otherwise the food, staff, service, and amenities are stellar.
N	Noel Nissen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is a bit older, but has been kept up to date nicely. Rooms are clean and Beds are decently comfortable. The elevator ride up has open glass as you go up. It's pretty cool! The view on the harbour side is just beautiful, both in daylight and at night. Easy walking distance from all kinds of restaurants and activities, and you have to walk by the government buildings pretty much next door, at night. Beautiful spot. It's not a cheap hotel, but it's worth the price. Stay here if you have a chance.

Staff were friendly and the room was clean, but the TV barely worked, the kettle never shut off when boiling, fan didn't work properly in the bathroom and I'm certain the alarm clock was from the 80s. The view is beautiful and the location is nice, just close enough to the city you can walk, but not super loud. I likely won't stay here again but it was fine while I was there.
S	Satoko Oka Norimatsu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at a king size bed room with a harbour view. Room is spacious, clean and updated. When I walked in the heater fan was incredibly noisy. After some wait a tech person came and saying that fans do have sound, he looked inside snd fixed it for me. I was very relieved and happy that he went out of his way to help me. The downside of this visit was I was not informed that the pool was closed. They should make such things clear so customers can make an informed decision. Lack of room service too. But overall it was a great hotel with a great location. I will go back there.

We had breakfast at the Pacific restaurant and the food quality and service was great. I would really like to thank the house keeping staff as my daughter left her soft toy behind which she is very attached to . I called the hotel back and the staff was helpful and kind to locate it and have it ready at the front desk for pick up. I will definitely be back. The pool an a sauna are great as well.
N	Nicole Minions on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed recent a stay at your hotel and would recommend to others. Outside of the fantastic location; the bed was comfy and the front desk helpful. We enjoyed happy hour at your restaurant where the bartender Kevin was great. The pool and fitness club and car charging station also nice bonuses. I wish I could have bought the pillows from the beds. They were the best!
