★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my way through and i broke down. So decided to stay here. Sadly mechanic wasnt open but the women at the front desk was extremely kind and actually messaged him for me and going to get it looked. Beads are pretty comfortable. It may not be a 5 star hotel but i would stay here again. Very kind people and are very pro-active on there snow removal. Only thing that could be improved is having some more outlets in the room for charging stuff but its not a big deal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service. Manager picked my call at 11pm when all the motels were closed near Thunderbay. He even shared that there are many travellers who often reach out to his hotel as there are no other motel services around even post 10 pm. Cleanliness very good.

Hwy was closed so we got a room.
Front desk guys was happy and cheerful.
Room was warm and clean.
Beds were very comfortable and the shower was good and hot.
Great rates.

The rooms are very nice... clean, up to date, etc (...and don't look like your average motel with beat up furnishings, bathrooms that scare you away, etc..., like that last place I stayed on my travels).
These folks know how to make your stay a pleasure. They even include little extras like a toothbrush & tooth paste, a comb, a razor and shaving cream, etc, etc, etc.
The owner /manager was very pleasant and welcoming, and was happy to go over all the details of the room, where to plug in my vehicle block heater, and recommend the best places to get dinner.
I cant recommend these folks and the White Otter Inn high enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traveling from BC to Ottawa, this was one of the best motels on route. So clean & equipped with everything you need during your travels. The owners thought of everything including full length mirror, iron & board, coffee machine, fridge, along with providing necessities which may have been forgotten like tooth brush, razor, and comb. We were extremely impressed with the experience. & will stay again when we travel West again the future. The owners were fantastic.
