We have never stayed at a B&B and we are quite young (22 & 15) so, we were a bit hesitant on staying at one. However, after staying here I have to say we will for sure be coming back!! I do not think I can express how helpful, nice, and personable David, Paul and the staff are. They really made the stay memorable for my sister and I. The breakfast is on point especially, the baked goods (SO YUMMY). The house itself has so much character(in a great way) ,very homey, really really clean, extremely safe and the rooms have the comfiest bed. For anybody looking to stay at a B&B, this one I definitely recommend and the location is central to pretty much everything you would want to do so, what more could you ask for! I do not normally write reviews but this was such an unforgettable visit. Thank-you again to Paul, David and the staff!
K	Keith Lalacs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ breakfast was great - a sandwich and a muffin, a dessert, coffee and a plethora of tea selection ( and chocolates on the side too ). location was perfect!!! - you can park your car and go walking around in the city. parking!!!-- reserved parking for guest and included in the rate of the hotel. Most hotels in the area are charging per night basis. Paul and David - was marvelous!!!!, we came in earlier than expected and they gave us a room early on with no hesitation. Paul even prepared a breakfast for us even though our breakfast is for the next day. Thank you Paul!!! No major complaints here, I wish pets ( small dogs ) are allowed but I do understand that having pets would entail additional clean-up for them since the house is fully carpeted.

I'll definitely recommend The West End Guest House to friends and family when they visit the city... B&B accommodation just doesn't get better than this.

It was very clean and good condition. Paul was very friendly and served great breakfast. I highly recommend this place as a good value for money compare to other crazy priced hotels in Vancouver.

I loved everything about it - the decor of the house, the lovely neighbourhood, the super friendly and attentive staff, the great food, and the beautiful room with its comfy bed. And with parking included, you can't go wrong. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

Normally I have a hard time sleeping somewhere I'm not used to, but the room and the guest house felt like home, I was so comfortable to sleep there. The room was so clean and quiet. I love that they used fitted sheets and the bathroom was gorgeous! The room was bright with the window shutters open and then able to close out the light for sleeping time, which was amazing. We had such a good sleep and loved that the TV was easy to use. We'll definitely be staying here next time again because it was such a lovely stay!

We stayed in the garden suite so had extra privacy. Plenty of storage for our stuff while we were there so the room didn't feel cramped by luggage. Paul and David were fantastic hosts, giving us recommendations for places to eat and were very friendly. The breakfasts were delicious - homemade egg sandwiches of various varieties, warm muffins, and complimentary beverages at all times of the day. The house was cozy, and decorated with fun artwork. We felt very well taken care of and would definitely stay there again!

The rooms had some nice touches including lots of plugs by the bed. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The neighborhood was centrally located and near lots of things. I was there for the Vancouver Marathon and that worked really well. Also, the staff was really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast felt special with the service and nice linens, and the meals had some interesting flavors. The evening snacks (cakes in my situation, but I understand it can vary) were always really well-made and delicious. Barb made me a separate bag breakfast on the marathon day since I had to get up early, and it was just what I was looking for. Parking was easy, which is a plus in downtown. It's such a welcoming and unique place vs what else you can find in downtown, also fairly priced, definitely recommend and will look for opportunities to go again!
