★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic comfortable stay! Great breakfasts and a good location for exploring the other end of Vancouver! Was nice to sit out the back in the patio and have a bottle of wine! Room was fine as was the bathroom! Would stay there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great room, large and comfy bed, decent shower (although only just high enough for me at 6'2") our room even had a sofa. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Every day something different but always top notch. I'd definitely stay here again if back in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden away between some of the most expensive apartments in Vancouver, the English Bay Inn is a small bed and breakfast, steps away from Stanley Park and English Bay.
Breakfast was elegant and was enough to last until an early dinner. Our suite (#5) was very roomy—it had two levels with a sitting room downstairs and a king sized bed, fireplace and bathroom with jacuzzi tub upstairs. The hosts were very helpful.
The only criticism we have comes from my wife who says she shouldn’t have let me have the tub first because I used too much hot water.
I like nice hotels, and I also like it when the place I’m staying has some charm. The English Bay Inn manages both with contemporary fixture updates in a cottage-like building. It’s also an excellent value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of this B&B is amazing and we would stay again just for that. Our room was clean and comfortable but overall a bit small; we stayed 3 nights and our bed was not made ones :(
Breakfast was tasty but limited; being super jetlagged we struggled with the 1h breakfast slot and I personally would have preferred to choose what to eat rather than waiting for a surprise every morning. We had 3 different egg dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great stay. The value for money was fantastic. 200m from the beach, in an amazing, accessible and quiet location. We stayed in room number 6. We got our own, trendy, clean, well lit basement apartment. I read a scathing review about room number 6. The person who wrote this is so off the mark. Our host, Alberto was helpful and knows so much about his beautiful city. I couldnt reccommend this little gem more. Very rare to find such an awesome and well
priced apartment this close to the best area of a major city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, wonderful service from Alberto and Jamie at breakfast. Every morning we were treated to an amazingly tasty breakfast, and they easily and kindly catered for our dietary requirements (vegetarian and gluten free, make sure you tell them beforehand). The room was spotless, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the Christmas decorations in the living area added a very magical touch. Thank you so much Alberto and Jamie - we will definitely stay here again next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the breakfast alone made our stay worth it! Soo delicious. Our room was nice and clean, a bit small but we expected that since it's one of the smaller ones. We loved the location and little patio out back. This is a very beautiful and quiet home to stay in!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a special place. Loved the two bedroom suite downstairs. More like an apartment. Fun to sit and chat with guests and have some complimentary sherry in the evening. I heard the breakfast was very good but our room did not include access to breakfast. Great location with a short walk to restaurants, shopping and Stanley Park. Reserve early because they fill up fast.
