Had to renew my driver licence and was able to book an appointment on the same day. Went 15 mins early as there was around 8 people who booked online ahead of me. Was able to renew my driver licence, pay for it and have my picture taken in 15 minutes. With the new system, it is less chaotic and crowded. They have taken all measure to social distance. Very impressed.

I made an appointment, and still waited a full hour in line. Only a few wickets open yet they were still processing walk-ins. That alone makes no sense. While in line I heard an employee tell a customer the appointment line shouldn’t be too long. Either she was completely oblivious or lying. I heard another employee tell those waiting if they didn’t want to wait to make an appointment, which is clearly not true. The same employee treated the people waiting like children, very condescendingly telling them to back up about a dozen times while people were waiting to be helped. The photo shows three wickets that were unstaffed The other side had 3 wickets open and a few more unstaffed. The process seemed somewhat organized, but with no oversight. If they can’t accommodate even their appointments then why allow walk-ins? My appointment took less than 5 min after waiting an hour. I recommend driving further to another location.

Worst place to give your road test. Here, they don’t want you to pass. My instructor was so a$$hole he failed me cause I went 35 in 30 zone in playground. I didn’t make any other mistake and did shoulder check on every turn, at changing lanes but in the end he said I missed shoulder check. I admit I exceeded the speed limit by 5 but the shoulder check mistake, i am sure he made that up such a looser. I knew he was not gonna pass me when he entered the car. I wear glasses and because all the safety measures I had to wear a mask but when I covered my nose the air coming out of my nose started making fog on my glasses so i lifted my mask a little bit down to prevent the fog and he said I can’t do that i said I won’t be able ti because of the fog he replied then i had to cancel the test what an a$$. I said it isn’t my fault that my eyesight is weak or i have to wear glasses and he kept me saying to cancel the test then

Took my road test here today. The instructor (SB) made me wait over half an hour like a fool before coming to start the test. Did everything right, speed limit on school zones, shoulder checks, parallel parking... Failed me for being "overly cautious", and "too slow on left turns". I was going at least 30km/h for turns... Isn't the passenger's comfort more important than going fast? Was I supposed to just floor it during a turn?! On the results sheet, the main reason of failing is "Dangerous Action". According to the definition of the skill sheet, it is defined as a driver's action or lack of action which could result in a collision or loss of control of the vehicle. Driver Examiner or other vehicle must take action to prevent COLLISION. I don't think going slightly under the speed limit (40 km/h in a undivided road) and getting passed by one car cause they are impatient constitutes as DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR?? Absolutely ridiculous place for a road test, please avoid this place.

I got my ID's renewed out here, everyone I interacted with was polite and cordial. It took about 20 minutes to get it done. The only unpleasant part of it was having a woman cough right next to me while I was with my mask off taking a photograph. I'll find out in a week or so if I'm down with omicron, but I don't fault ICBC for that. In fact the ICBC personnel were extremely empathetic with this person, and even offered her water. Such kindness and empathy in the face of such danger the reaffirmed my faith in humanity some what.

I went to get a renewal done, the front counter representative had a welcoming smile. Also, the representative who completed the process of renewing had exceptional customer service. To be honest, there service has drastically changed comparatively to my previous visits. The queue is unavoidable if you don’t have an appointment, this is mainly because of the number of people coming to get the services done. However, I noticed that the queue moved fast. Hats off to the agents working at this location.

I had the quickest service ever in an ICBC Driver Licensing Office. This was mainly due to booking my Driver's licence renewal online for an appointment at a set time (give or take 10 minutes it said). So with being on time myself, i was in, and out, in only 14 minutes with a picture renewal good for 5 years. The person that served me was also very polite, respectful and knowledgeable too, which was nice.
