β β β β β Recently drove from Ontario to Vancouver, and wanted to have my Audi looked at because of a small leak. Not only did they resolve my issue the same day, but their prices were reasonable and they didnβt charge me for anything I didnβt need. These guys know their VW/Audis very well and are professionals. Last time I went to the Audi dealership for maintenance I was charged quite a bit - so I would highly recommend IB motors for your VW or Audi needs!

β β β β β If you drive an Audi or Volkswagen... this is the only shop to take your car. They were upfront, honest, genuine, professional, timely... In this industry, finding a shop like IB motors, is like stumbling across a goldmine. I will be doing all of my repairs, servicing, break & tire replacements here moving forward.
Well... of course my beloved A3 was doing great and as soon as my warranty expires a transmission fault light came on and my transmission became unresponsive. I had been unsatisfied with my servicing at Cowell so I began the search for a quality independent shop. All my industry friends (I used to sell European cars and worked service side too) suggested I bring my car to IB Motors.
Not only did they beat Cowellβs price, took my car in as soon as I called, got the job done on time, they gave me a courtesy car.
I asked them to look at my bushing too (COWELL gave me a RIDICULOUS quote for replacement)... IB motors assured me that no work was necessary at this time and if and when it was... they wouldnβt replace the whole control arm, the would replace the bushing only.

β β β β β We took our 1992 Westfalia in to IB Motors as it had a terrible rattle coming from the rear. After an inspection it was diagnosed that we needed a new catalytic converter. The rear shocks also needed to be replaced which was a big disappointment to hear as they had just been done by the previous owner less than a year ago by another dealership in town.
We were impressed with the workmanship at IB and how courteous and professional Lucas was.
We had a tentative purchase offer on our van that we were selling and we were worried the work would not get done in time for the new owners to pick it up but Lucas and his crew worked their magic and got the new catalytic converter in and replaced promptly. The van runs great now!
We would definitely recommend IB Motors to anyone needing quality work done at a very reasonable price on their Westfalia!

β β β β β Lucas and the team at IB Motors handled the repairs of my TDI wonderfully.
I had an ICBC claim and Lucas took the time to coordinate with ICBC on what was covered and the cost. He communicated quickly and gave me recommendations along with the cost for additional repairs not associated with the claim.
Shop rate is fair and Lucas seemed very knowledgeable on the common issues of my generation car. I will be back at IB Motors next time I need maintenance.

β β β β β Always honest repairs at fair prices. They know VW/Audi and most imports. Don't bother going anywhere else. They have the crew and equipment to do it right. Straight-forward no bs. I wouldn't trust my VW to any other shop.

β β β β β Took my 2004 Audi a4 to IB motors and Lucas was very friendly and straightforward with what was wrong with the vehicle. Lucas was very fair with the pricing and held up his part on when the vehicle would be finished. They did a very thorough job of the repairs and maintenance and would highly recommend if you own an Audi or VW! Thank you again Lucas and IB motors!

β β β β β IB Motors is the mechanic you choose if you value competence, honesty, and fairness. Although competent across the board, they are THE SHOP to go to particularly if you own a VW or an Audi. People know this though so they do tend to get pretty busy and so you'll want to plan ahead for servicing when you can.
IB Motors is unfortunately not located near me and so recently I tried testing out a shop closer to me... which I instantly regretted.
