Fantastic place, live music on the beach, good bar at very reasonable prices. This needs to be rediscovered.

Despite having a cottage in the area (well, 40 minutes away), we'd never heard of this place until this year, so we were really looking forward to trying it since it looked gorgeous. However, we were kind of disappointed: The setting is beautiful and I love the old (it's been here for 100+ years), rundown vibe. But the food is really, really not great, especially for the price: 2 burgers, 2 fries, a hotdog and 3 cans of pop was $65 (and you collect it from the counter, on paper plates - these aren't 'designer' burgers). More expensive than a typical casse croute and yet somehow worse. And cold! And the woman who took our orders seemed angry. With slightly better food, this place could be fantastic. Maybe it's better to just come for ice cream.

This is a wonderful piece of history preserved with the best sunsets in the world!! Beach front, river access, diner style food and ice cream, live music and the BEST DECK in the valley!

Beautiful beach and great patio. Walked for miles on the sandy beach. Unfortunately the menu is very limited, hamburgers and hot dogs (which they were out of) and the washrooms could use some serious attention. Staff were pleasant.

Great off the beaten path place. Come for the experience stay for the paysage and ambience. Don’t forget to thank your service with smiles and tips. Limited yearly open time but worth the trip. Five Stars!!!!!

Cool place to drop in if you are boating on the Ottawa River. There was live music and a great patio and beach. Also known as "the fort" or Fort William.

A classic spot for locals and cottagers to meet and hang out on the beach. There is food and bar service available. They have built a very large deck on the beach with one of the best river and sunset views in the Pontiac. They have brought back live music occasionally which is a great addition.
