★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simpson Camp worked great for a base camp for our group. The 3 bedroom unit was clean and Very spacious. The checkin and out process was smooth, even though we never met with the proprietor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go, nice and quite with lots of space to feel comfortable. Has a big theater to enjoy movies, games, etc. Great outdoor space to enjoy different activities. There is also an inside gym you can use for inside activities, and you will also find a multi-purpose room for the enjoyment of activities. Being there with family to experience the fun was great and you will never get bored of it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simpson Camp was a great place for our group of 14 to gather. We stayed in the "south side apartment" which has six spacious bedro, two full kitchens, two 6-piece baths, and a games room with a pool table. Having access to the firepit, bikes, gym and amazing movie theatre were nice extras that kept all ages entertained. Town of Simpson is small, safe, and quiet, and a short drive to Manitou Springs and Watrous for more conveniences, golf, spa, etc. Leroy was very accommodating and flexible throughout booking process and our stay. We would suggest maybe having more details on website that indicate what is provided / what to bring. We had tons of questions before we came and even so, made assumptions about items that would be included. For example, bedding, towels, coffee maker, toaster, and bottled water were provided. (Stocked coffee station was a really nice touch!). However the BBQ was actually a firepit that required coals, we were not prepared for this as we had expected it would be propane and had to source out briquettes in Watrous. Leroy was excellent however with providing BBQ tools and anything else we asked for such as more garbage bags or dishwasher soap. Items we would have liked (or would have been happy to bring if we had known) included: kettle, larger bowls (we were feeding a large group), oven mitts, dish towels, vegetable peeler, rubber spatula, fly swatter. Need to bring your own outdoor chairs if you are a group that likes to sit outside. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simpson Camp is a very quiet and relaxing place. The atmosphere is very serene and the suites are comfortable.Excellent place, full kitchen and very clean bathroom, wifi & tv.
reasonable rates.Simpson Camp embraces individuals who have a passion for cottage life in a perfect rural environment, with countless indoor and outdoor capabilities. You definitely can loose yourself here in this surreal environment. It's worth it!!! Had lots of fun. Definitely will go back and recommended if you are looking for a quite getaway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our friends get together weekend at this facility. Great gym and movie theatre for our use which entertained the kids all weekend. We had lots of space for four families with two large kitchens, spacious rooms with large TVs in each room. Owner was very accommodating for our requests. Definitely recommend this facility. It is also a very quick drive to Manitou Beach/Spa as well as Watrous golf course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked Camp Simpson for a bachelor party. We had all the space we could ask for and more. Noise was never an issue, and Our host ensured we were as content as we could be. He was provided us great flexibility on check in and check out. The gym and the theatre were a great place to spend the evening and unwind after a long day. Camp Simpson was an absolute blast, and a perfect venue to accommodate our big group. It is truly a hidden gem of the prairies, and we will certainly be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner/manager of Simpson Camp Retreats is doing a good job of turning this building into accommodations for visitors. It is a work in progress. Anyone that is handy can earn a free nights stay in exchange for work done, a great way to lend a helping hand and enjoy the surrounding areas for recreation and entertainment. It is still a bit of a diamond in the rough. The room my family stayed in was welcoming and didn't lack for much of anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited with friends and family. It was the perfect place for us to spend our weekend. Leroy was just a phone call away for any support you may need. The place was super clean and movie theatre was the unexpected fun. My kids loved the place and will visit again soon.
