★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming up here for 29 years. The cottages do the trick- keep you dry and a place to sleep. Docks available for your boat. Great atmosphere with 9 total cabins- camp-like environment with all your buddies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very subpar experience. The rooms were extremely unclean, with the bedding, pillows, and couch being unwashed. The tap water appeared yellow, the stove did not function properly, and the doors could not close fully. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Birches is a great get away. Not that far from the city, nice and quiet, great people and the rooms are soooo comfy. Hide out on top of the boat house with a book or chit chat with the hosts and other B&Bers at breakfast. It's a really nice place to chillax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am giving the B and B a 5 star because the room we had was nice and roomy and we had our own private bathroom. The owners Paul and Kathy are very friendly and make you feel right at home. This was our second stay and we will definitely revisit in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite place to spend time in the summer. B&B or cottage, its a beautiful spot with the friendliest hosts. Fishing, boating or just sun bathing next to lake Joseph I highly recommend The Birches to anyone I meet. So many good memories to be made and plenty of good times to be had.
