Outdoor Harmony Inn is absolutely incredible. My Husband and I stayed here over the long weekend for our Anniversary and we will definitely be back. We stayed in the Ironwood tent. It was the most private but the hardest hike (which really wasnt that bad) I would recommend not bringing rolling suitcases unless you can carry it to your tent. If you are staying in the other tents it is not as hard of a trek. There is a Pavilion which is the dining/ food prepping area. You have a shared fridge with a dedicated shelf labeled for your corresponding tent. The freezer is shared and you have your own cabinet for your dried goods. They also include pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and cooking utensils. There is a bbq and a propane stove outside the pavilion to use. Right outside the Pavilion there are more outdoor dining picnic tables and a small building that has 2 outdoor sinks for doing dishes and brushing your teeth. You will find a couple outhouses and 2 outdoor showers. The showers are either HOT or COLD there is no in between that I could get haha. It was perfect temperature for me but my husband felt like his skin was melting ? The beach area is very relaxing. There is a fire pit with Muskoka chairs surrounding it. A deck which is used for Yoga or sitting (more Muskoka chairs). There are SUPs and kayaks that you can use and a private rack for your own. There is a dock to sit at and watch the sunset or fish off of. As far as the Tent goes it was very clean and comfortable. We had a queen size bed that was fine. You can hear the highway and the train throughout the night but it did not bother me at all. We slept right through it. If you are sensitive to the noise of trains and highway then you can use the earplugs provided or probably stay in the INN. Make sure you pack your own blankets and maybe bring a couple extra pillows if you are used to sleeping with more than just 1. Flashlight comes in handy when you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The outhouse is an outhouse. It is clean and has everything you need. But it is an outhouse so there is an outhouse smell. We saw a a little black bear during our visit by the tents so MAKE SURE you do not bring any food to your tents. Overall this place is beautiful. We loved every bit of it and will be back again. It is important to remember that when you are stying in the tents you are OUTDOORS so there are critters and those critters might be in your tent, it its located right off the highway and next to railroad tracks so there is noise from that. It is not completely remote but they do a GREAT job at making it feel pretty close. The owners and staff do not linger around the guests so if you have questions ,make sure you reach out to them over the phone. There are signs everywhere in your tent and outhouses and showers that are descriptive and tell you what to do so make sure you READ the signs cause they will probably answer most of your questions. We had a hard time getting in at the restaurants so make sure you book a reservation in advance if you are looking not to cook.

Dympna and James were amazing hosts and very accommodating. Joedy was friendly and helpful and all the staff were very welcoming. We took the bus from Toronto and found it convenient. We stayed in the Superior Suite for 4 nights. The beds were comfy, the room immaculate and the artwork beautiful. Everything is close by and we walked into town a few times to explore or have lunch. The highlight for me was the kayaking day tour with OSKC. The guide was very knowledgeable and we saw a bald eagle! Whether it was relaxing on the dock, watching the sunset or going for a paddle, Harmony was the perfect getaway and we can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Not only is the entire properly so tastefully decorated and “Instagram worthy” but the location itself is perfectly nestled in the wilderness but also so close to town. The owner and staff are absolutely lovely, as are the chickens and the on site dog Molly. We had this gorgeous property all to ourselves for my fall visit with my sister…we got to use the brand new *spider free* kayaks as much as we wanted (without anybody breathing down our necks), enjoyed a gorgeous country breakfast of their very own fresh eggs, did yoga on the waterfront deck, and got to gander at all of their gorgeous glamping tents! I even fed a chipmunk right out of my hand on this magical property. The part that stands out more than the tasteful decor is how CLEAN this place was—absolutely spotless—and just a joy to stay in. Will be returning. Highly recommend 10/10.

What an incredible space! Thanks to Dympna, James and their employee Eric for a great stay. My friend and I stayed in the Maples tent (2 single beds) this past weekend and made great use of the dock, SUP, Canoe, Kayaks and Yoga deck! The shared pavilion was so well stocked - we overpacked on cooking supplies since everything you need is there! There are dedicated cubbies for food and dedicated shelves in two fridges for each tent; as well as space in freezers if needed. The showers were great and there are various compost toilets in common areas (pavilion, beach) and one for each tent. The location is near the highway and train but we were able to sleep soundly with earplugs in (which they provide). As someone who usually does backcountry camping, this was a great experience and a pleasurable alternative to a local campground or hotel and had so many great amenities! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for this type of experience / a place to stay that is 5 minutes to downtown Parry Sound.

We visited Harmony Outdoor Inn for 2 nights in June and has occupied two of the tents. It was our first time glamping and what a wonderful experience it was. James & team made our stay very comfortable. The property is very well maintained and our stay was quite comfortable. Property is neat and the team is excellent. It sure was the most comfortable way of camping! Parry Sound itself is a wonderful town and the property is located very close to all necessities (wallmart/sobeys/Tim’s/Starbucks/Marks..). We also did the guided Kayak tour with James and it was great as well.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Harmony Outdoor Inn (Huron room) for two nights this Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time! The room, shared bathroom, and entire house was clean and cozy, with nice cabin-like decor. We really enjoyed the self-serve breakfast (eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, granola, cheese, etc) and had a lovely time chatting with the owners, James and Dympna, and giving lots of pets to their adorable dog Molly. We also really enjoyed the private dock, fire pit, and the little hiking trail on site as well. The Inn is also just a 5-minute drive from Parry Sound, so the location is great! It was a lovely little escape from the city - highly recommend!

What a hidden gem, 2 minutes from Parry Sound. Beautiful rooms and atmosphere. Property is stunning, lots to do right on the river which goes into town. James the owner was very welcoming. The glamping sites very cool. Definitely a return visit soon

My spouse and I stayed in the Superior Room last summer and let me tell you, it was beyond our expectations. Not only the room but the entire property. This place is a hidden gem and only now am I realizing I haven’t left a review. Don’t let any bad reviews of this place you might stumble across (if any) sway your choice of booking here. It has the perfect mix up of an intimate, clean B&B while you can also book the glamping tents for a more luxurious camping experience. Free kayak, canoe and stand up paddle boards for use all day long. Im looking to book here again sometime this summer and the following. Also had the best nights sleep of my life in the Superior Room in the B&B, the pillows and bed felt like a cloud. Did I forget to mention, complimentary breakfast available in the B&B? Eggs right from their chicken coop. I could write on forever but I’ll end with saying, don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here. Cheers.
