★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rockwood has been my favourite place to vacation ever since I was a child. Zach and Kim have created a friendly, cozy atmosphere that any cottager would want. Cottages are clean and comfortable and the views couldn’t be any better. Highly recommend Rockwood Resort. Can’t wait to visit again next summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful escape! Sad to leave. We had such a wonderful week at Rockwood. The location is gorgeous and a perfect getaway from the city. The cottage was clean with nice beds. Kim and Zach were quite helpful and kind. Highly recommend a visit and we can’t wait to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I came up for a long weekend in January 2017 and stayed in cabin 2, it was extremely cozy with a wood stove fire place. The property is very beautiful with excellent views of the bay. The new owners, Kim and Zach, were very friendly and accommodating! We are excited to go back in summer for a full week!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a wonderful week at Rockwood with our two sons in August 2017. Hosts Zach and Kim could not have been more welcoming and the setting of Georgian Bay is beyond beautiful. We stayed in Cottage 7 which was clean, simply furnished but equipped with everything we needed (included surprisingly good hot water pressure in the shower!)
If you want all ‘mod cons’ it may not be for you but if you want to relax close to nature and enjoy peace and quiet or the company of like-minded friendly folks around a camp fire, you’ll not be disappointed. Special thinks to Zach for being super helpful and the free fishing lesson for the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! We visited the resort for about 17-18 years. When kids were small we visited it every year for 1-2 weeks. The resort is located in a beautiful place with granite rocks. I was a bit nervous when booking because the ownership has been changed a few years ago. But new owners were very nice to us (though we did not see them because of Covid). They helped us to resolve the problem with blankets (we did not bring them though stated that we will bring all sleeping stuff). Strongly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, friendly owners, clean and well appointed cottages with the right amount of decor updates. Sandy beach, easy access to Georgian Bay and local marina. Couldn't ask for much more.
